Best hair styling product I’ve ever used
It’s first time ever I have used clay, usually these were gels or hair sprays. I really like the fact that this gives matt finish . Small amount is enough to style short type of hairs so it’s very efficient. Once put on, there is no sign of hair styling product

Average hair product from Bulldog
Have used various Matt clay products over the years and was interested to see what this product was like. The clay was more liquid like than I thought it would be and unfortunately the clay stayed white in my hair on a few occasions. However, it smelt good and actually held my hair well. Middle market Matt clay option but no game changer.

Bulldog styling clay 1
This product is very easy to open. Also it is very easy to close. A distinguished tin shape as well as packaging, which is easy on the eye. The smell is distinctive and refreshing. This product leaves the hair standing up or as styled perfectly. I would recommend this for anyone who likes not only Bulldog products but who wants to style hair full well knowing the outcome would be excellent.

Does the job
The texture of the clay is smooth and easy to work with, neither too sticky nor too dry. It doesn't have that heavy, greasy feel that some other pomades or gels have, which is a huge plus. A small amount goes a long way. Its very soft and I was expecting it to be a stronger however that doesn't compromise on the hold My hair stays in place throughout the day, but I never feel like I’m stuck with a helmet-like hairstyle. It also gives a matte finish, which works really well for a more natural, understated look The styling hold lasts all day without needing a touch-up. It doesn’t flake or lose its grip as the day goes on, which is impressive for a product at this price point. Even with the matte finish, it doesn’t dry out your hair or scalp

Great styling clay
I've used a few different clays in the past but really liked the texture and hold of this one. It's a bit more "wet" than the others I've tried so it is easier to apply but the hold is still firm.

Love the look it gives
I have tried this product for an event and I was very impressed with the result. I really liked the matte finish that it gives as well as it manage to hold my hairstyle throughout the event. I will definitely recommend this.

Bulldog Styling Clay
On first use of this product I wasn't sure if I'd like it as much as my normal product. I don't think I used enough of it which meant it didn't really hold my hair in place and left it too fluffy. However since then i've used a little bit more product (still not too much though) and its been way better. It has a really firm hold which keeps my hair where I put it, but if I want to re-style or tweak it during the day it is flexible enough for me to do that. The slight downside is because its got such a firm hold and because clay isn't permeable, it means the following day its still quite firm in my hair and won't rinse out with just water so I need to shampoo it to get it out. That's a reasonable trade-off though to get good hold when I need it. Overall I'm really happy with it and the fact that its made with all natural ingredients and is vegan society friendly / not tested on animals is reassuring.

A more natural look
It leaves a more natural look compared to hairspray which is better. I like the matte finish. Easy to use. Prevents frizz better than sprays too. But the smell might not be for everyone. I recommend.

Ideal for shorter hair
Trying this product on my freshly washed hair, I was surprised that the relatively thick consistency of the clay was actually rather malleable once I warmed it up in my hands and applied it to my hair. The clay was easy to use to get my preferred style and gave my hair a matte effect which I like. The only downside for me was I felt the product didn't last all day and my hair started to look flat after a couple of hairs of applying the product. I think this product is ideal if you want a straight-forward hair style.

Brilliant
Great hair product, somehow seems to get more use from less product than normal hair products. Smells great and gives a long lasting style. Really would recommend this to anyone!

Great Hold
The product works well. It provides a great hold throughout the day. It also smells really nice and fresh, which is definitely an added plus. I really like that the jar is made from recycled plastic (with a metal lid).

Here's a personal review for the Bulldog Skincare Original Hair Styling Clay: --- I've been using Bulldog Skincare Original Hair Styling Clay, and I’m pretty happy with how it's worked for my hair. First off, the scent is really unique and just what you’d expect from Bulldog – a mix of earthy, natural tones that are subtle yet refreshing. It's also got the right kind of mascot on the label, which always makes it stand out. In terms of performance, the clay does a great job on my hair, giving it the hold and texture I was looking for without feeling greasy or heavy. It shapes my style well, and I don’t feel like I have to keep adjusting it throughout the day. However, when I tried using it on my beard, it didn’t work as effectively. It just doesn’t seem to hold or condition as well on facial hair compared to what it does on my scalp. So, for hair – it’s great, but for the beard – maybe look for something specifically made for that.
