Not for me
I think this is a required taste .I just really did not like the taste ,the texture and the flavour for me was almost bitter .Even when I added more water it did not improve .I also found it hard to dissolve and glumly.Sorry but not for me because of reasons given

Love it
Not a marmite fan but love bovril, reminds me of watching football on cold days with my dad. Still drink to this day and enjoy that warm meaty flavour.

Great for cooking
Bovril is a staple cupboard food item to add extra flavour to a stew, casserole or bolognese dish. I always have a jar in stock - just not for making a hot drink!

Lots of uses
I'm not one to make this into a drink myself but my husband really enjoys it, especially on a colder evening. I use it a lot in cooking, to add a bit of a extra flavour to meat sauces and gravy

Great beefy flavour!
Who doesn’t love bovril?! I’m actually not one who likes to drink it at football games, but it’s absolutely delicious on toast with some butter underneath! I also put a bit of bovril into meaty dishes to add additional flavour - things like spaghetti bolognaise I’ll put some bovril into the sauce to “beef” it up a bit. Such great flavour and easier to spread than other similar products like marmite.

Good for cooking
Bovril is great for putting in whilst cooking for that extra depth of flavour (especially cottage pie!) Not as nice of toast as marmite though

Cupboard essential
We always have a pot of this in. I add it to a lot of dishes but also enjoy it as a nice drink when it’s gone chilly, keeps the hunger at bay!

Good to have
I have this as a comfort thing - when I have been run down, I make a cup of bovril to help me get some nutrients when I can't eat. It smells exactly as you would expect a beef broth to smell like, and the taste, whilst an acquired taste, is nice.
