GREAT STORE CUPBOARD STAPLE
IT IS GOOD TO HAVE SOME ACTUAL BEEF IN A PRODUCT! 50% IN FACT. I USE IT IN MINCE, STEWS, SOUPS AND CASSEROLES EVEN IF BEEF IS NOT THE MAIN INGREDIENT IT ADDS THE SALTYNESS AND EXTRA BODY TO FOOD.

Beefy Bovril for winter weather!
I love the beefy taste of Bovril! Ideal to add to stews/casseroles etc but I generally enjoy it as a warming drink, ideal for these cold winter days. One large tablespoon in a mug of hot water (I add a touch of pepper) and you're good to go!

Warming hug in a mug
The taste of Bovril is a very nostalgic classic for me from childhood. I remember going swimming and getting one afterwards, the hot beef flavour is very warming and satisfying and I still enjoy it to this day.

Can't beat a lovely hot cup of Bovril during the colder months. I work outside so always have a jar of this at work. Tastes even better with some black pepper added

Ok ish
I had this while taking a liver reduction diet as additional fluids in the day as something different without calories. It was tasty and quick and a change from regular drinks like tea or coffee. It dissolved easy but at the end it left some paste like residue which I didn’t like. Still have plenty left and will drink it again but would not necessarily re purchase it.

Makes me think of grandads and war time. Think my dad actually used to drink it. It must be an acquired taste. I love marmite but hate this stuff

Classic drink
Absolutely classic beefy drink that takes me back to my childhood. Easy to make and the same lovely flavour I remember. Would absolutely purchase again and recommend to others x

Meaty flavour
I mainly use Bovril on toast. I find it quite strong so use the smallest amount mixed with melted butter. Lovely way to start the day!
