Love it on toast
My partner recently introduced me to bovril after having it at a football game and it’s now a staple in our house! Great on toast, in sandwhiches, as a drink and also a great ingredient to add umami in cooking! Love it!

Not my favourite
I normally use marmite but I thought I would give this a go seeing as it looks popular. It wasn’t great to be honest. Very tangy and too strong, this may just be me though as I know others really like Bovril

More uses than a drink
This item is really versatile, gravy, drink, sauces to add a depth of flavour, on toast as a spread, in a sandwich with cheese and lettuce. It’s got a deep flavour that makes you want more.

not for me
i have always eaten marmite so thought i would give this a go to see if it was as nice. There was nothing wrong with the taste it just wasnt for me.

Originally is great
Having been around for many a year. This sticky, beef flavoured, very dark brown or black treacle like fluid can be added to hot water as a beefy,hot,relaxing drink. Great meal replacement , a meal or just a pick me up.

Nostalgic and comforting.
I used to eat Bovril all the time as a kid, I think they have changed the recipes so it tastes more 'yeasty' then it used too. I find it nostalgic and comforting. It's nice to have a hot cup before bed.

Great winter warmer, very versatile
My family love this especially in winter. Great versatile product that can be used in lots of ways. We love it as a drink and we dunk in crusty bread/rolls. Great value

Love it!!!
Soooo much nicer than marmite. Rich beefy flavour, great spreadable texture. Not to be beaten generously spread on a toasted English muffin with lashings of melted butter.

Not just a drink
We love bovril in our family, and we don’t just drink it!! We use it in stews, mince dishes and gravy to give it that extra beefy flavour.

Perfect on cold days
Love this on a cold wet day, perfect way to warm up, teenager has it when it comes home from football. Add to gravy gives that extra boost. Also add a spoonful into slow cook and stir in when making stew. Best to buy on offer as can be expensive if on a budget
