Handheld garment steamer beat iron
Absolutely love this steamer! It eliminates wrinkles and is super easy to set up and operate! With the 3 different types of heat settings, they are ideal for all types of material from delicate to basic fabrics. I find that this steamer is better than irons in terms of convenience as they are lightweight and require little space. I can use it on curtains, bedding and even my sofa cover! It heats up quickly and is effective in removing wrinkles. Between, loving the glove that comes with the steamer to protect me from the heat!

Good to have but can survive without!
The Stand Steamer is very easy to power up, almost instantly. It is good to iron out clothing or textile hang vertically, eg: long dress or curtains. However, it is quite bulky and took up space. Furthermore, it left water marks on the cloth. It can be dangerous as well as user can be scalded by the hot steam if you are not careful pointing it towards you.

Trying out philips steamer
Very compact, convenient to use and Its fast to iron my clothings especially chiffon clothes. However, don't expect too much for tough textile like jeans or even office shirt as the creases are hard to remove. This steamer suits very well for women use as we have a variety textile of clothings compared to male's. Overall am happy with this as I seldom wear jeans material and the quick ironing makes me felt less hassle if required to iron my clothings before leaving house.

Can be better
The tube and steamer head feels rather hot to touch in the process of steam ironing even though I had the glove on. Water droplets tend to drip after a while of using. Does a decent job in straightening out the creases but definitely unable to have smooth surface compared to press ironing.

Is easy, convenient And compact in size to use for ironing the clothes, clothes get instantly iron in awhile. Safe for children to try ironing as housework skill too, I would recommend to buy this. Phillip is quite establish and stable brand with variety of products with great reviews too.

Takes creases off clothes effortlessly!
This Philips steamer is really easy to assemble and use! It has 3 heat settings which is good for different types of fabric steaming. The steamer does takes a while to get heated up but it’s pretty fast and friendly to use! With the glove included, I am at ease with steaming my clothes as it won’t scale my hand. I also love how quiet this steamer is, as compared to my old one! I can even steam clothes while my husband is sleeping and not be afraid of waking him up! Overall, this steamer is pretty good for steaming all sorts of clothes, I would recommend using the highest heat setting for crinkly shirts. Low settings are best for delicate clothes like my satin/ silk clothes! I won’t have to be afraid of the heat damaging my clothes at all! I would definitely recommend it to my family and friends as the price point is friendly too!

Quick and convenient
The Philips Easy Touch Stand Steamer GC486/36 is something new to me as I had always used a traditional iron with an ironing board. Suprisingly, the steam is able to remove wrinkles and light creases easily and fast. It is much more convenient and quick. However, the clothes after steaming does not have the crisp look which traditional iron could offer.

Philips Easy Touch Stand Steamer
The product stand is easy to fix up. However, the hanger seems to be fitted in the wrong direction making ironing a bit out of hand. After filling the water into the water container and turning the product to the lowest heat, the stream get heated quite fast. Can see that the clothes is straightened after a while of usage. A glove is provided to hold the edge of the clothes to prevent getting scalded by the stream. The minus point is that the cable get pretty hot after a while of usage. Can’t imagine turning the power to the max.

Quick morning steam for a spiffy look
The Philips easy touch stand steamer was very easy to set up and convenient to use. I particularly liked that I can give my crumpled dresses a quick steam in the morning to iron out the creases from my overpacked wardrobe. It does not take up much floor space and I’ve left it in a corner of my room! For clothes of thicker material like jeans would need a bit more steaming to iron out the creases but won’t recommend using this steamer if you like those super sharp lines on your pants and shirts.
