Artificial tasting!!
I tried using it on ribs and chicken, but it didn’t enhance the flavors—it just made them taste like artificial smoke and sugar. For a brand like Wattie’s, I expected much better quality. There are plenty of other BBQ sauces on the market that do a much better job. I won’t be purchasing this one again.

Delicious sauce
I no longer buy regular bbq sauce as this is perfect. Lovely smokey flavor. I have used it on pizza's and also in a marinade for chicken.

Very tasty

Best BBQ Sauce Ever
Ok. I am sold!! I have never been a big fan of BBQ sauce..finding it too sweet This is next level! I'm in love!! It has a slight tang to the flavour..which just makes your taste buds dance in happiness!! Grat with hot chips, sausages, paired up with cheerio sausages, spring rolls.. just tastes great with anything you might pair with tomato sauce usually. It's that good..you will need to buy 2. So you don't have to share your bottle!!

Very smoky perfectly made
This was the first time i ever tried hickory sauce and it was really good. It got really strong flavour really good used as pizza base sauce with chicken perfect sweet and tangy flavour.

Great Bbq sauce
Delicious sauce, that my whole family loved. Also made a great sauce for making sticky pork ribs. I personally loved that the sauce wasn't as sickly sweet as most Bbq sauces are. This one had just the right amount of flavor and sweetness.

Good flavour bbq
Really impressed with this Watties BbQ sauce, it reminds me of the Burger King one and is excellent in burgers or a side of chips. Really moreish in taste and has a little tang so that it’s not overwhelming sweet. I would definitely recommend.

Watties Smoked Hickory BBQ Sauce is pretty awesome if you love that smoky, sweet BBQ vibe. It’s got a nice balance—smoky, a! bit tangy, and just the right amount of sweetness. The flavor isn’t too strong, but it’s bold enough to make anything taste like it came off the grill. The texture is great too—thick enough to stick to ribs or chicken without being gloopy. I’ve used it for marinating, as a glaze, and even just for dipping, and it worked every time. If you like BBQ sauces on the sweeter side, this one’s a winner!

Great all rounder, not toddler friendly
The adults in our household loved this take on a BBQ sauce, it paired well with scrambled eggs, saussages & steak sandwiches. However our 3 year old wasn’t a fan and much preferred his standard tomato sauce… it seemed a bit much of an intense flavour for his liking.

Delicious
I loved this sauce!! First off, i made a meatloaf with the smoked hickory BBQ sauce as the main ingredient of my meatloaf sauce. It just had the extra smokey flavour that me and my whanau loved. I would recommend this sauce to all that love that BBQ taste with a bit of smokieness in there as well. The smoked hickory flavour is fabulous!! Next try is on burgers

Great sauce
So yummy on burgers, I made mine with bacon, beef, red onions, cheddar cheese, mayonnaise and this sauce and it was absolutely divine! Also great to dip chicken nuggets in or wings.
