Watties fish pie meal
The watties frozen fish pie meal is pretty nice the fish, peas and corn in a creamy, smoked white sauce, topped with mashed potato and a cheesy crumb tastes nice, aslo the amount is just right for a smaller meal/snack, but I found after heating in the microwave it is hard to get onto the plate. This is the only negitive thing with meal.

Absolutely delicious. I don’t normally like fish pie but this one was scrumptious. I liked how it was all mixed together not to big of chunks just the right texture to.

Left feel disappointed
I am generally a big fan of Watties products but I must say I was left very disappointed by this fish pie. There was barely any fish, no peas and barely any corn. The entire thing was soggy mashed potatoes (despite cooking in the oven and following directions) with sauce that had no flavour. I would not recommend this product as unfortunately, I was left very disappointed by the meal.

Tasty flavour
I heated in the microwave as per the instructions and it heated through well. The flavour was very tasty but I couldn’t really distinguish it as a fish pie, didn’t come across any chunks of fish and it seemed to be mainly mash potatoes. Only found a couple of peas/corn which seemed very measly. The texture of the whole meal was mushy, maybe would have been better if cooked in the oven and had a crispy potato top? The size would probably be okay as a small lunch but as a main meal it was not enough, especially for the price.

Pleasantly surprised.
I was pleased to notice that the flavour wasn’t too strong, but was flavourful all the same. I’m not a fan or strong tasting fish but this was good. I would possibly buy this again and also recommended it to my elderly father who lives on his own.

Nice amount of fish
It's hard to find a good fish pie. Although not spectacular it does the job. Easy to prepare and good flavours.

One of my favs
Tastes amazing like home made .. succulent fish in a yummy sauce and creamy potatoes topping ready on minutes it's my go to even when I'm away ( as long as there's a microwave or if camping i cook in boiled water in a pot)
