Tasty!

Patties butter chicken
Nice and tasty and is a good lunch option as it's a heat and eat. Fairly small portion though so wouldn't be good for those with a big appetite.

Watties Butter Chicken
We trialled this for a weeknight dinner. I added some broccoli. I thought that it was very tasty. I don't buy ready meals and prefer to cook from scratch but was pleasantly surprised by this. It was just the right degree of spiciness for a butter chicken, i.e. mild. As I normally cook from scratch, I expected that it might taste artificial but it didn't. My husband said it was a bit spicy for him but he has very low heat tolerance! I would recommend this product to others for a tasty , quick meal (add vegetables to bulk it up and give extra nutritional value). Thanks for the opportunity to try this product. I would purcahse it again if I wanted an instant but enjoyable meal.

A good little meal for lunches
Small portion though and def isn't a traditional butter chicken (obviously!) but if you need a meal on the go for under $6 then it's perfect

Quick and easy meal
It taste more peppery than the ones we bought before, defo has a kick to it but not spicy for sure. It is just the right size for me, but not sure if it will be enough for a grown up man.

Wattie’s Butter Chicken
Ho hum. Product was a bit uninspiring, insipid and felt 'fake'. The rice was appetising enough, for rice. But the chicken was small and rubbery and cut so uniformly it felt like fake pieces of chicken. There was also a measly portion of chicken pieces in the dish. The sauce was an unusual colour, again felt fake like it was coloured in some way rather just naturally occuring due to spices. Dish overall was edible but uninspiring and not fulfilling.

A quick tasty meal!
For a microwave meal I thought this was great. Although not quite a traditional currybtastw, still very tasty and I would purchase again. Portion size was spot on for a lunch or small dinner This is a meal I would happy take to work as a quick and easy option.

Wattie's Butter Chicken was a great mid week dinner in a hurry for the kids - mine seemed to love it and I love how quick easy and cheap it is .. will definitely be one of our staples for a busy day when the kids need feeding fast.

Quick and easy meal
It is very convenient, as it is ready in minutes, and the container it comes in allows you to eat from it rather than transferring it to another plate. In terms of flavor, it is good but a bit spicy for my taste, but that's just my personal preference. Something I did not like was the texture of the chicken; it seems artificial, and there is not a lot of it. Other than that, I would recommend it for people who enjoy a bit of spiciness.

Decent snack or to have in-between meals
The meal can be prepared straight from its frozen state, so it helps with not having to wait for it to defrost first. Portion size : I would consider it as a full sized meal, and you won't be full on it. But it is good as a quick snack to have when you're busy or when you just need a bit of food to carry you through to dinner. Taste : I didn't have high expectations for it, but it was pretty nice. The curry flavour wasn't very strong but it was there. The rice wasn't dry or hard and there was plenty of curry sauce (meat) to have with it. I enjoyed the slight tangy taste to it too. Nutritional value : Of course, it wouldn't be the healthiest of choice but depending on which meal you choose from Watties Frozen Meal range, the amount of protein included is really good . Packaging : Plastic tray with a film on top . The outside is a cardboard box. I hope that in the future , we can find an alternative to the plastic tray and film.

Quick Easy Meal
Makes an OK snack or light meal. Easily heated up in the microwave. The curry sauce tasted quite sweet with a mild hit of chilli (but more peppery notes than chilli). There were roughly about 8 small cubes of processed chicken in the curry. The white rice was fluffy. Don't expect a traditional butter chicken as it lacks the spices and the smokiness of chicken cooked in a tandoor oven. I bulked up the meal for dinner by adding a side of stirfry veges.
