Great Taste
Great taste & quick meal especially when you don't feel like cooking. Nice portion size as well. Very filling.

Quick in a pinch!
Overall, this was easy to heat and eat. Good flavour despite its looks, I would have liked to see more peas in this to bump up the fibre content. However, it was great as a in pinch meal. I’d try the other options to see if those would be nicer.

Tasty snack sized portion. Great for the kids and easy enough to make themselves, got the thumbs up from my son. Not too spicy and flavorsome. Chicken pieces would be nicer if they didn't look so processed.

Tastybut Small portion
The food are delicious, but the portion was too small even for a kid. And it look plain that not much meat are in it(totally look different to the picture show on box). The price is set too high for this product.

Quick, easy, delicious!
I really enjoyed this microwaveable meal. Despite it being small in size, I personally found it filled me up. Potentially the rice and combo could have made it completely filling. The taste of the curry was amazing. It had flavour, some sort of spice. It was really tasty. And I would have it again when in a rush and only have a short amount of time to make food to eat.

Decent no effort meal
This was very easy to prepare (I used the microwave instructions) and was ready incredibly fast. It was tasty. The sauce was nice (mild flavour) and there was a generous amount of chicken. Nice texture. It would have benefited from a few more peas. Overall I’d keep a couple of these on hand for times when cooking isn’t an easy option.

Tasty and convenient
This meal was ready and convenient. The size was a little small for my teenage sons, but they found the instructions easy to follow and enjoyed the meal.

Tasty but small
The taste of the butter chicken was really nice, the size was a little small but surprisingly filling! The chicken bits were limited, chewy and very processed. I think there were two peas :-) I ended up getting two for $7, that was a good price, I’d not likely pay $7 for one though

Wattie's butter chicken
This was a decent option for a quick meal with zero prep time. The flavour was generally there (for a frozen meal!), and it was super quick and convenient. The one thing that could use some improvement is the rice - I found it was a little bit gluggy and not all separated and fluffy like I would've hoped. An ok option for a quick meal to keep on hand in the freezer.

Spicy
I found this too spicy for me so it's not something that I will buy again but it would be great for a quick meal if you're in a hurry as it was easy to heat up and the instructions were easy to understand . It would be great for someone that likes spicy food I think the portion size would be good if it was a bit bigger

Good for hurried days
Small meal that suit d me for lunch. Rice went quite big and absorbed moisture. Chicken was ok, texture a little bit rubbery. Flavour was good.

Watties Butter Chicken 250gram
We found these meals to be a very tasty meal and they were much enjoyed. Wattie's Butter Chicken consists of marinated chicken pieces in moreish mild tomato curry sauce, with tender white rice. I was very impressed with these "ready meals". They are so convenient, quick to heat and ready to serve in around six minutes (in the microwave). These can also be heated in a conventional oven. We will definitely purchase these again, they are a fabulous quick easy meal when time is limited, and when a more time consuming home-cooked meal is not an option. We opted to serve the Wattie’s Butter Chicken meals with assorted pappadums. Yummy !!
