Good for a store bought meal
Good flavour and texture. I am not a fan of mashed potato but actually enjoyed this - maybe because of the ease of cooking it.

tasty fillin meal idea
Got hold of this meal and enjoyed it on an afternoon shift at work. It had a good meat content although the picture suggested more veges were in it. Think I would get it occasionally when price good.

Wattie's Cottage Pie
I shared this meal with my husband one evening, I was in a rush to make dinner. The meat had no test, and there were hardly any potatoes. The overall dish had no flavour, and tasted pretty boring.

Bitterly disappointed!
Unfortunately, I have nothing nice to say about this meal. It was just awful. The picture on the box is not what it looks like when cooked. There was not ONE vegetable in the mince and it had a slimy texture to it. The mash on top was watery and the whole dish lacked flavour. I had high expectations when I saw the box! Mind you, this is from someone who makes meals from scratch. Sorry the review wasn't more positive :(

Great easy meal on the go
I was pleasantly surprised how tasty this cottage pie was! I heated it in the oven and it did get a good crisp on the top, although it only just started going golden with the correct cooking time, I did leave it a little longer. It was full of flavour although I would have liked to have a few more veg like the picture on the top, but for a quick single serve meal, it was fine and I would consider keeping a few in the freezer for when I can't be bothered cooking

Really tasty
I loved this. It reminded me of a potato top pie. Nice flavour. Not spicy. Just added some salt as i always do to the likes of this. The right amount of cheese. Would be nice to be able to brown the cheese under the grill. Had it for dinner at work. A great size for that.

Not bad if the price is right
I'm not a huge fan of microwave meals so I was excited to give it a go and see if this changed my mind. The product cooked properly in the time in the box, but looked rather unappetising on removing the plastic film. The taste was completely okay, just fine. If I was in a hurry and needed a quick meal that would fill me up and gave some meat and veggies, I might consider this. It was more potato-heavy than I thought it would be. Doe me the biggest thing was the value. I think at the price I saw it at the supermarket ($6 for one meal) I would never buy it. If it was on sale for $3 u would probably grab a few to put in the freezer. It's definitely not $6 value

Convenient but tasteless
Unfortunately I did not like this.. there was barely any taste I had to add quite a bit of salt, while eating it I had a powdery mouth. While it’s super convenient to have in the freezer it’s not a satisfying meal.
