Ok for a quick meal
Watties cottage pie was just okay. Not a lot of mince and veggies, was more filled with mashed potato and didn’t have too much in the flavour department. Portion size was a little on the small size but overall it was good for a quick meal if time is limited. As with most of these quick meals it never looks like what it does on the box!! What a shame as that cottage pie looks great!!!

Not what I expected
I was quite surprised with this frozen meal as I have purchased frozen meals in the past just to be disappointed with the final product but watties frozen shepherd pie was actually quite nice and didn't go as mushy once heated .had a decent amount in it as well so alot better for your moneys worth and wasn't as bland as other brands as well so well done watties, will buy again.

Easy Meal
Easy, fast meal and good flavour! It's a great option to have in the freezer for when you don't have time or don't feel like cooking. It tastes a lot better than I was expecting for a frozen pre-cooked meal and there is a good range of other meals.

Yummy, but not enough mince
Was surprisingly really yummy. I say that because the look of it coming out of the mircrowave looked quite dark and unappetising. There's certainly more mashed potato than mince which was a bit disappointing, but the mashed potato was creamy, cheesy and nice. There were very few carrots and peas. The mince does have good flavouring.

A quick tasty meal
My 4 year old son and I aren't the biggest cottage pie people, but we were both pleasantly surprised by how tasty this instant meal was. I forgot to take a photo of us eating it but we were too busy enjoying eating and enjoying it together :) I imagine this would be a great staple in our freezer for when a quick and easy small meal is needed (with veggies on the side too) There

Watties Cottage Pie
This is affordable for all families, the taste had a homemade feel and is a real comfort food. My daughter enjoyed it so much she wanted another one straight after. Great to keep in the freezer for those days you don't feel like cooking. I recommend this product. I gave this product a four star as I personally would have liked more mash potato.

Delicious and quick to prepare
Great tasting meal, easy to heat and like all frozen meals heating in the oven produces a better taste. Really enjoyed the crispy edges of the potato. Would recommend for a quick lunch or small dinner if not super hungry but not for dinner if you are hungry for dinner.

Quick easy meals for a very busy home
Easy for the kids to cook themselves on those very busy weekdays. I know they are getting a full meal and not eating junk. I would love a bigger portion size option For the teens.

Overall I think the product was not too bad, the taste and texture was ok and you can taste the potato and mince however it did come out a bit soggy after microwave for about 3-4 minutes but overall it tastes alright

Yummy in a hurry
I was actually very impressed with this meal. I normally don't expect too much with ready/frozen meal products, but this was so easy and above all tasty! I went and purchased several more for my freezer. The mashed potato was really creamy and well seasoned, and the meat was good too!
