Watties brown onion liquid gravy
As a self proclaimed gravy connoisseur I was excited to try this. Was unfortunately a bit of a let down. The powder packets are probably just as easy to use and taste far better. For me it had a bit of a plastic taste, tasted somewhat like gravy but wasn’t overly pleasant and wouldn’t buy again. You do get a decent amount in there though.

Nice, but not enough
I used this satchel to go with a family mince and cheese pie, mashed spuds and beans.. I know not very adventurous but a staple in our house. The flavour was great and full bodied, the colour a rich. No one complained but no one was like wow either. There wasn't enough for 4 of us, I would of needed 2, so I made up a sachet to go with it (didn't mix the 2). Tbh I wasn't fussed and for the price I would just stick to sachets in the future. Thanks for the opportunity to try.

Easy gravy
This is a very easy to use gravy for sure, 40 seconds in the microwave. It had a great well developed taste but I personally found it slightly too salty. Not sure if I would purchase this product again as it has quite a high price point, but it is the epitome of convenience.

Tastes just like gravy, funnily enough. Quick and easy to prepare. Tastes good with roast vegetables or meat. There are definitely cheaper options that taste just as good, but if money is no issue then give this a go

Delish and easy
We had it poured over some mashed potatoes and sausages and it was so yummy. The kids even tried it which is huge. Bit more of a grippy handle bit and it would be perfect. Would absolutely recommend this as a quick and tasty gravy.

Disappointing
We've never tried a liquid gravy before. I usually make gravy from scratch or use an instant powdered gravy, so we were excited to try it. Very easy to serve, just heat for 40 seconds. Appearance was good, nice and dark. There were no onions visible in the gravy, which we found odd, but on we go. I served the gravy with sausage and mash - the traditional way - and my partner and I tucked in. Well, the first forkful proved the product was wet. The second forkful, that the gravy tasted horribly artificial with a strange after taste. Definitely not good and ruined the meal. Usually an onion gravy is tasty and thick with yes, onions. Very disappointing and expensive, too. I wonder if the brown onion flavour just doesn't work, as I noticed reviews for the other flavours were far more positive. Not a purchase for our household.

Delicious! Will definitely buy again!
I really enjoyed this Gravy, and I used it for a recipe I used to make when my children were young, but then I would use dried gravy mix. I cooked sausages, sliced them, cooked a little leftover bacon, then combined them in a pan with the Watties Gravy Mix, and this was far superior to using dried gravy mix. The onions were smooth, and the flavour was so delicious I had seconds! I very much recommend this product. Yum!!
