Quick vege protein base
I used my taco beanz to make quick bean and cheese quesadillas in my George Foreman grill. It added great protein and flavour and (having a ring pull) was incredibly easy to spoon on to my tortilla and sprinkle cheese on to. If your family enjoys mexican flavours, this is a really cheap and convenient addition to your pantry.

Not for me
I was a little skeptical about this product but thought I shall give it my best shot. Completely reminded me of the traditional baked beans and that was what probably ruined it for me. I found the taste and texture not quite what I expected. Some may indeed enjoy the flavour but I found it wanting and seemed to need 'something' else. Good points was it was a convenient size, a trusted brand so the quality is good (loads of beans and the right amount of sauce) and in an easy to access pull tab can. This just wasn't something I personally enjoyed.

Watties Taco Beans
Delicious! I made nachos (to take to work for my lunch) using the tin of beans, a really yummy easy meal. The taco sauce was tasty and not at all spicy but gave the beans a great flavour. I also liked the size of the tin being 300 grams it was perfect for just one person. I'll definitely be buying these taco beans again, yum yum. (I added cheesy nachos, sour cream, jalapeno, and cheese).

Nice,easy combination with meals
The bean is very soft and the taste is good too, I ate it with some rice because I am lazy to make a complex cuisine for my dinner after work,it match well with the rice which surprised me. I like it because it is not expensive and easy to eat.

Easy nachos
Great convenient product. Good addition to mince or a vegetarian option. Alternatively could be a meal on its own or on some toast. The only improvement would be to make the taco flavour stronger. Definitely recommend as an easy meal option

Small Beanz
Easy to prepare but the flavour was disappointing, better option to flavour your own plain beans. Can size smaller than usual, sugar content a little high for my liking.

Let's Taco about this Musical Fruit!
Wattie's Beanz (Taco Flavour) is priced at $2.30 for 300g. This product is considerably smaller than the average Wattie's Baked Beans 420g can, which is a bit disappointing but not surprising. I guess this is just another case of "shrinkflation", (as with many other products)! The good news is that this product has a 4 Health Star Rating and is a great source of protein. The beans had a generous amount of tomato sauce and had a very mild taco flavour. I was expecting these beans to be spicier and have a bit more flavour but they were okay. These beans are versatile & can be served in many ways: in casseroles, mince dishes, fillings for tacos/burritos, as a side dish, on toast, or simply... eat as is! These beans can easily be heated in the microwave or on the stove top. I bought an extra can of these taco beanz and served them on toast with avocado, beetroot and fried eggs! Yum! My son enjoyed them and said he'll be very happy to have them again.

Slightly spicy beans
The beans consistency was the same as regular beans and the sauce just had a slight taco flavour. They smelt spicier than they tasted. Overall a nice alternative.

Taco Beans
Overall not to bad, quite easy to cook and the beans were quite tasty, i put the beans into a pot and after cooked i mixed it with a taco shell and the beans were pretty good was tasty and had the right sauces that came with it
