We loved our chicken rice risotto, it’s so quick and easy to make. I added broccoli and grated carrots to the rice to sneak a few extra veggies into the kids…it’s so yummy they didn’t notice!

Diamond Rice Risotto Chicken is now a firm favourite on the family meal plan. I always thought rice risotto was a hard dish to make, and when I did attempt it, it would come out all gluggy and horrible. Diamond Rice Risotto is a great, easy meal, comes out perfect each time (I've tried it twice now), and it is so versatile. I can add whatever I like to it (more vegetables) and it turns out great. This is a great meal to have on hand for those late nights, after sports, or in the weekends when you can't be bothered cooking but know you need to.

The cooking method was super easy even suitable for young cooks. Cooking time was really quick and suitable for a busy family. In my opinion the final consistency was not to my taste and required a few more minutes cooking time. On its own is a good meal but I will definitely add chicken on the side to bulk up the final dish. For the price, pretty good value for money.

It was a great option for a quick dinner that will feed all the family. So easy to make in the microwave. Is yummy on it's own but you could add veggies to it as well and make a stir fry. The kids loved it, it was the first thing to go off their plate. The flavor was great, not over powerful.

Was the perfect choice to feed two teenage boys quickly for a late dinner. Add mixed veges and bacon and you have a great meal ready to eat within twenty minutes from start to end.

Loved how easy the rice risotto was to cook . Price is extremely affordable and you can add any veggies you like and the best part is you don't only have to use chicken . I look forward to trying out different flavours next few weeks.

Great product for a quick meal from a box. As a family of 5 I would next time make it with vegetables and or meat to bulk it up. Fabulous as a side dish for my sized family. Kids adore rice so went down well with most of them. Easy to make, tastes great and would be easy to adapt as well.

We as a family tried the Rice and it was delicious. Even my 5 year old liked it. Quick easy convenient to make especially if you don’t have time to stand long in front of the stove. Suits a busy lifestyle. Cheap meal budget friendly. Loved that it is a kiwibrand as then I know it is not hard to get and I can find it everywhere in New Zealand which is great.
