Did not perform as well as hoped
I liked that this razor was compact, while still having some weight to it. I didn't like that it was AA (x2) Battery operated, but for travel it could be convenient with a fresh pair of batteries. I can see the razor getting scratched up after spending some time in a shaving bag. I do not have thick or course hair. While the razor did a good job on my upper lip, chin and cheeks, I had to go over my next area several times to get a smooth shave. Over time, as the blade gets dull, this would become an increasing problem. Overall the razor was ok, but it does not perform as well as rotary blades. This razor was not water proof either, and does not come with a charging cord.

Ive spent years looking for a razor that does not irritate the sensitive skin on my face i haven’t been able to find one that does the job until I received the The Metal Series Foil Shaver by Conair. This compact but well built shaver ticked all the boxes for me , it shaves quick , easily , uniformly and best of all it has a minimal effect on my sensitive skin. All in all this is an amazing product that i will recommend to all my friends with sensitive skin.

Perfect fit for you hand
The first thing you notice is the feel of this machine in your hands. Its heavy, a good type of heavy just fits in your hand and not flimsy. First time trying a shaver like this, so I initially tried shaving my beard with it. Then realized this is used to smooth your skin after your shave. It did a good job of shaving any small bits left behind but you have to go really slow with it.

Good shaver.
The metal gives it a nice solid feel. Good shape which helps in control of the shaver. Does a good job in shaving nice and close. Easily cleaned. Somewhat noisier than ones I am used to. Miss the trimmer for my mustache and sideburns. Not sure how the nonrechargeable battery feature will workout.

Professional grade shaver
The way the product is packaged is really professional and I fell in love instantly with it. Very easy to use and works well on trimming even the hardest of stubbles. The only thing I would love added to this would be rechargeable batteries as things as it still uses 2 AA batteries

Excellent shaver
Overall it has been great so far and its been almost two weeks of using. Originally concerned as it is battery powered, it actually performs well which makes it great for traveling and accidentally forgetting a charging cord or base for other shavers. Was relatively easy to clean. Did a very good job and no skin irritation yet, which I often experienced with previous electric razors and trimmers.

Good option for travel, but not for all
The razor is small, looks good, it is sturdy, a little heavier than other razors in this category. Also, it is a bit noisy. It uses 2 AA batteries. It is gentle on the skin, but the beard must not be older than a few days. This can help with the finish after a manual shave. It is a good option when traveling.

Provides a close facial shave.
When using the shaver on your face the shaver does a great job of giving a close shave. I struggled at get a close shave on my neck area and seemed to spend extra time trying to get a close shave.

Good but not great!
It seems to work fine for an electric shaver but does not shave as close as a manual shaver. It would also be nice to have a blade to trim sidebars and moustache.

Great look - Shaves ok if short beard
I like the look of the shaver. But I don't like the fact it uses 2 AA batteries. Shaves close enough... when my beard is short... Not very useful if my beard is 2-3 mm long... Takes a long time to shave when beard is long. I wish it could be chargeable.

Clean close shave
Provides clean and close shave and perfect for touchups too. Would like to see a rechargeable feature as it's literally very heavy shaver itself and battery adds to the weight too. Overall very happy with the product.
