Dove Exfoliating Body Polish

The brown sugar and coconut is a great smell together. I use it daily now and every time my skin is left soft and exfoliated. The container is a large size. It is worth buying!

As soon as I opened it, there were two things I noticed that I wasn’t really a fan of. One being the smell (which heavily resembles vanilla extract), and the other being that the product is not sealed, so it’s difficult to know if it has been opened/used, especially when purchasing from Amazon. I do really like the texture and find it quite exfoliating, so although I wouldn’t recommend this specific product, I’d consider purchasing it in a different scent!

I love this product! Using it on your body for a good feeling clean or before applying self tanner, this would be my go to. I may try another scent since the coconut was a little strong for me. I like that it’s more of a sugar exfoliant that dissolves and doesn’t hang around the bottom of your shower or your body. I feel like the term polish really sums this product up!

Body polish doesn’t clean the skin, it only exfoliates it, but this is still a great product, even better when used in the morning. Its a full body exfoliator, with a whipped texture to it and a nice, thick, grainy consistency. I found it was easy to spread, wasn’t too harsh, and does wonders on freeing ingrown hairs and smoothing out razor bumps. I felt like my body just had a facial, revealing the baby soft skin I had underneath, feeling silky smooth!

Received the rice milk type, and doesn't seem to be full container. Have to scoop it out with your fingers. Perhaps this is making a change in my KP? Not sure yet. Does not lather up with suds but does a good job with the "polish" to feel clean. CONS: lid holds water so have to leave it on its side in the shower; what are the beads actually made out of??; hard to handle the jar in the shower without getting water in it and put the lid back on; not necessarily moisturizing. PROS: spreads nicely like a whipped body butter with hands; lasts long while you are using it/til you rinse it off; feels like you actually exfoliated after you used it; mild scent that doesn't linger after shower.

I am not a huge fan of the smell, the exfoliating beads are larger in this body scrub so you can feel the scratch more when using. It definitely made my skin soft, but I get the same results from other body scrubs that don’t hurt as much when using. I probably wouldn’t buy this one again, but I wouldn’t not recommend it. It works, and some people like that scratchy feeling with exfoliating!

I tried the Dove exfoliation body polish coconut and brown sugar and i truely fell in love with it. The smell is great and the scrub is really effective. Easy to apply and does a great job of exfoliation. A must

The Dove brown sugar and coconut butter body scrub is very abrasive. The scrub smells great and the ingredients are clean but it’s just too abrasive for one’s skin, after using it my skin felt so dry and beat up. I also wish it came in a squeeze bottle as when using it in the shower, I worry about getting water inside the container and diluting it and I don’t like the idea of having to scoop it out, it just feels cheap.

This product leaves your skin clean and soft but it takes a long time to remove all of the exfoliates off of your skin. Has a great scent but its also a tough type of container to be able to use in the shower.

Love it, love it, love it. Tried this and found it exfoliated my skin very well and left my skin feeling fantastic. The only drawback I would claim is that the scent was making me hungry while I used it! Great smell and it doesn’t linger so you are free to use your perfumes without it clashing.

This was my first time trying the Dove crushed almond and mango butter exfoliating body polish. It had a nice subtle scent. I expected the screw off lid to be a con for me, but it wasn’t. I like that the product is nice and fine, so it doesn’t feel too rough on your skin, but leaves it feeling smooth and refreshed. I would definitely buy this again. I was given the opportunity to compare with the OGX body wash and scrub. I also liked that product. I found that it felt more like a body wash with the exfoliant added in. It also left my skin feeling fantastic. I would recommend both of these products!

wasn't sure how much I would love this product just because I don't generally enjoy shower products that come in tubs, mostly because its easy to introduce bacteria and can become waterlogged...but I digress. I cared about NONE of these once I unscrewed the cap. Smells so good! Its like an exfoliating body butter, with also a bit os soapy lather. It's a bit hard to put into words but it is lovely. The scent is 10/10. Felt great going on to and coming off of the skin and didn't leave any sort of residue. Would definitely recommend.
