I want to love it...

Cerave, made with important skincare ceramides, and recently endorsed by the Michael Cera. But I just can't get behind it. I have tried this particular lotion time and time again, but it doesn't do a good job of moisturizing my combo skin, and it is a terrible product to have under make-up. It is such a shame because my dermatologist recommended it. Thankfully, she also recommended other brands and products that I find work better.

Excellent and doesn't leave a film

I'm so happy with this sunscreen bc I find that it doesn't leave a white cast on my south Asian skin tone. I wish it came in a bigger bottle. I'd totally recommend it nonetheless.

perfect for everyday

i’ve been using this every single day for several years. it’s the only moisturizer with no white cast or heavy scents. I don’t find that it pills either. Works super well under makeup or by itself!

Nice & Light

I love that this doesn't leave your face greasy. It's light and glides on effortlessly. This is one moisturizer I would buy again. It even has built-in sun protection so it's like a two-in-one product. Amazing!

An Everyday Moisturizer

Love this as a daily moisturizer that has the added benefit of sun protection. While it is fragrance-free it definitely has a light smell to it.

Go-to moisturizer

Doesn't leave my skin feeling too slimey, good for combo to dry skin, SPF protection doesn't do too too much so recommend layering with another sunscreen but overall it's good for a budget-friendly every-day moisturizer!

My daily facial moisturizer

CeraVe has been one of my favourite skincare brands for years and this moisturizer is a staple in my daily routine. This a fragrance free, has a consistency that is not too thick but still moisturizing, blends well with makeup and does not react with other skincare products. It has never broken me out and does not leave my face feeling oily (I have oily skin). Overall a great product!

More of a sunscreen

This product is more of a sunscreen than a face lotion, which is too oily/moisturizing for my oily skin, but works well on my partners dry skin. I like that it has SPF, but would prefer a higher coverage in a face lotion / face sunscreen.

I used to love this product but it has become so thick to apply I need to combine with serum. I love the combination of the ceramic.

Derm recommended classic

You can’t go wrong here. A good light daytime moisturizer with the added punch of SPF. Makes it easy to wear sunscreen as you don’t even have to think about it. No nonsense evidence based skincare.

Our Go-To

Recommended by our dermatologist, this is our morning ritual for our family. I like the spf factor as I know I always have some sunscreen on each day. Feels good on my skin.

My skin has never looked better

I have been using this moisturizer for about a month now. My skin tone has evened out and my skin looks and feels more hydrated. This product is a little heavier than I expected, however, the trade-off for the SPF 30 protection is worth it. Great product.

Really like it

I use this moisturizing lotion at the cottage, when I don't want to apply too many products on my skin and want to have sunscreen on. I like the texture of my skin after applying, it's not sticky at all!! Very well absorbed, no sunscreen look either! It is my go-to sunscreen + moisturizer on lazy days!

I apply in combination with The Ordinary Eye Serum. Both are well priced and deliver visibly great results.

Not Blendable!

This product really steered me away from CeraVe's SPF products. I've been a fan of CeraVe's skincare products for years now and decided to give this moisturizer+SPF a try to reduce a step in my skincare routine. It was not worth the money at all! Not good for combination skin, leaves a white cast, and hard to blend, specially if you use it with serums. Don't recommend!
