Tefal Ultimate Pure Anti-Calc Steam Iron FV9849

Tefal Ultimate Pure Iron really is the ultimate iron. Not only do I no longer have to worry about calc marks whilst ironing, it makes ironing so much easier. I have always used a very light weight iron which meant going over and over a garment to eradicate creases. Now a few glides with the Tefal Ultimate Pure Iron and creases are gone. I love the feel of the iron in my hand and its so easy to use.I highly recommend the Tefal Ultimate Pure Iron

Wow!! The Tefal Ultimate Care Anti-Calc Steam Iron is absolutely amazing , it’s super light weight and not heavy on the hand, as a busy mum with two kids ironing uniforms and business shirts all day this iron has made things so much easy for me. This iron glides very smoothly to all types of fabric which provides effortless ironing and scale free with its anti- calc filter that protects against scale to go on clothes. This iron provides a very fast heat up which i thought was very powerful, I love how I don’t have to refill my iron all the time because of its large water tank. I love how this iron has an auto safety switch if left unattended which I thought was very clever. I highly recommend this iron.

The Tefal Ultimate Pure Iron has been effective in use but is noticeably heavier than other irons which lead to operator fatigue from prolonged use in an ironing session. The design of the controls are also awkward with the temperature control, turbo steam jet and water spray buttons all in positions that are too easily accidentally bumped whilst using the iron. The steam button is a trigger right where the iron handle is held and the spray button on the top side of the handle is right in the location where the handle is clutched during use. The iron does pump out a considerable amount of steam and perhaps the weight is deliberate in design to help iron more effectively in combination with the steam output but it does feel too heavy for prolonged use. The auto off feature is a very useful safety feature for forgetful or busy users to turn off after 8 minutes upright or 30 seconds when flat down.

I love how the iron looks very modern & space-like! I love the bronze colour. It’s quite weighty, heavier than my iron. Its made in France, it looks and feels like a good quality iron. The real test is in the performance. My current iron is pretty good and it was expensive to buy so this a Tefal had a lot to live up to. Within 5 minutes of ironing my first shirt I was impressed by the ease of use, the smooth glide over the fabric & how effective & easy it was ironing my shirt. I normally would have to go over the same area a few times but with this Tefal iron I would only pass over once or twice. A basket of ironing would normally take me a couple of hours but I literally did my entire ironing in half the time. I felt like I was whizzing through the lot with this iron. The steam is powerful, the plate glides over all fabrics easily & when adjusting the temperature it didn’t take long for the heat level to change. I love this iron & have already given my old one away.

Honestly, not only is this iron beautiful and elegant looking but it works so effortlessly to iron my clothing, my husband works as a trade operator and his work clothes are quite tough and rigid but it has ironed them flawlessly. I recommend this product 100 out of 100!

Tefal never fail to produce a quality iron. It's the only brand I'll purchase. It glides over the clothes easily and heats quickly. I highly recommend Tefal to anyone, even If they hate ironing.

This item is useful and has the right amount of heat and steam. However, the product is quite large and although one may not think the size of the product would matter- it does. It is quite bulky and makes it harder to use as compared to a smaller version of this product
