Perfection Plus
I loved this Iron, my garments come up so fresh and crease free. The steam feature is a fabulous addition, super simple and can be used on all garment types.

Smart Iron
I was not sure how I would like the Tefal smart iron as I have always used an iron that you can control the temperature. I was pleasantly surprised, the teral smart protect plus iron was able to press all my clothes of different fabrics without damaging anything and getting out creases in tougher fabric. Good amount of water able to be held and I like the steam function. Large amount of steam upon pressing the large easy to use button.

Ironing made easy
Ironing definitely made easy! An iron packed with safety features to make ironing any fabric a dream. Not having to spend time changing settings really is a timesaver! Loved using this iron, felt nice to use and glided over every fabric I used it on! Would highly recommend.

All in one iron!
This iron does very well on every fabric type I have tried. I like the pointy tip as its get into pleated sleeves. Love that it automatically adjusts the temperature when changing fabrics. The steam function works great when needing to give a quick steam to clothes. I found that I do need to use the steam when ironing linens to make sure I get all the creases out. I found that it was very hard to gauge the water level through the dark blue water gauge section. I found that the filling the iron up with the tap a bit fiddly I would prefer to use a jug which was not provided. Overall I would recommend this product to family and friends.

Works well
I tested the Tefal iron and found it very easy to use - just plug it in, wait for it to heat up, and go! I was a bit nervous because there isn’t any way to control the temperature, apparently the iron is suitable for all ironable fabrics. It worked well on the linen/cotton blend dress I ironed with it. I did think the instructions were a bit confusing and hard to read - having multiple languages in one big block and trying to figure out the pictures without any proper labels was a bit tricky.

Save your time
Iron is very light and easy to use( after learning how to use it). I wish it come with better instruction ( more specific as I took me a while to figure out how to use it). As it detect and set temperature by itself is saving you lots of time ( you don't need to reset and check each clothes for specifications). There is one thing which was a bit disappointed- short cord...to short for me and my ironing needs.

No more dry cleaners
Always paranoid ironing expensive clothing as I’m worried the garments will have shine marks or fabric stick to the plate of the iron. The smart protect plus took away all the worries easy to use, didn’t have to go through the same area of the clothing numerous times as it was still creased. This iron is powerful, safe, efficient.

Iron that works on all fabrics
Thank you Home Testers Club and Tefal for allowing me to trial the Smart protect plus steam iron. First impressions of the iron were positive. I love the dark blue colour and the aerodynamic shape. It took a little while to heat up - longer than my cheap iron. 1st item I trialed was a standard t-shirt. Worked great and removed all the creases. 2nd item was a work shirt. Fantastic again! Slid over the material and came up crisp. 3rd item was a silk top. I was sceptical as I noticed there was no function to alter the heat. But to my shock and delight, it ironed it perfectly! That was a great surprised. One huge negative was while using the turbo steam function, quite a bit of steam water came out and ended up on my clothes. Instructions were also not clear and it was all diagrams. Would I recommend the Tefal Smart protect plus steam iron - Yes! The fact that it irons all surfaces without adjusting heat temperature trumps all negatives.

Smart
This iron is indeed SMART! Fill the reservoir with water, switch on the iron & just get ironing without worrying about temperature settings. Love the ceramic sole plate. Perfect iron!

Steam Boss, however not quite satisfied with the actual range of options for different fabrics. Feel like there is limited functions for this. For example linen vs cotton? 1 x setting for all? My old iron Russel Hobbs is more superior
