This food processor is great I made some pesto straight away with it. It made a beautiful pesto. The kids and I have been enjoying fresh smoothies with the blender attatchmebt !

Cutting my kitchen time in half!
I’ve been using the Russell Hobbs Black Food Processor for a while now, and it’s been a great addition to my kitchen. I had an older model from the same brand that lasted me years, so I decided to stick with what I knew. This updated version has some noticeable improvements—the parts are easier to clean, and the base locks in securely, preventing leaks. The powerful motor makes chopping, slicing, and shredding effortless, and while I don’t use all the extra attachments, it handles veggie scraps and meal prep like a champ. For the price, it’s a reliable and stylish food processor that gets the job done without breaking the bank! Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable yet effective kitchen appliance.

Love love love!
This was super exciting to review! The Russell Hobbs Desire charcoal matte food processor is super easy to use and comes with quite a few attachments. The slim design doesn't take up much space, and there's suction cups on the base of the unit which prevents it from moving while in use or in storage. It has clear, easy to read symbols which you simply line up to lock the jug in to place. The creamer worked really well to beat egg whites when making meringue, and the chopper attachment blitzed strawberries pretty easily. You may need to stop the unit occasionally to scrape the sides to ensure ingredients are thoroughly combined. Although the instruction booklet recommends to place you hand on top of the blender when it starts, I found it didn't really move much, which may be due to the suction cups on the base, holding it in place. The dial has two speeds and a burst option which is handy. All the attachments seperate for easy washing. Overall, a really great product.

Great veggie chopper and blender
I absolutely loved this food processor! My daughter is vegetarian and we are a family of 6 so we have ALOT of chopping to do and this device worked like a dream! We chopped carrots, cucumbers, potatoes and more! The blender was such a great addition! We are a big smoothie family and we kept this thing busy with all our different flavour combinations! It was super easy to use, exceptionally easy to clean, I couldn’t ask for anything better!

Chopping fun!
The food processor/blender has been a great addition to the kitchen. I love the compact design of this - it doesn’t take up a huge amount of space so even in a smaller kitchen, it is definitely usable. The two attachments of the food processor and blender make it far more versatile. I love that it can easily crush ice - making smoothies easier to make. The blades are really sharp which is great!

It’s fair
Really like that it’s compact sized and easy to keep anywhere in cabinet. I had been using this daily for the last three weeks or so to make green smoothies (kale, spinach, silverbeet, mango banana, flax seeds. It was doing a great job. Not for heavy duty use.

Versatile and Easy!
I absolutely loved this product - it managed to make it incredibly easy to do smoothies, chia pudding, gravy - just to name a few. The ]only thing is its quite big which not work in a smaller home. Otherwise no ]issues!

An excellent 2 in 1!
What a product! Thoughtfully designed with arrows so you know when it’s locked into place. The processor blends the food very well and has 2 different speeds to ensure a fine crumb. Very easy to use, I didn’t have to look at the instruction manual! The blender worked very well even with the 2 small blades and made a great smoothie! An excellent kitchen staple!

The helper you need and want!
If you want a food processor that effortlessly helps you prepare healthy meals for your family, in no time, then this is for you! From shredding slaw for salads, to blitzing dried fruits, to kneading pizza dough, to crushing ice in smoothies this little machine took everything my hectic family threw at it. Once I’d gotten used to the removable spindle it was a breeze to change blades and lock the bowl in place. The suction cups on the machine provide reassurance that I could carry on while it did all the hard work. It’s quieter than most processor/blenders I’ve used and was able to make frappes and smoothies to such a smooth texture. Equally important the clean up. I just popped it all in the dishwasher and it came out clean time and time again. This included the pizza dough remnants and pesky chia seeds! This has been a real winner in my family!

Great product and easy to clean!
I’ve been using this product nearly everyday for more than a week already. I use it to make green smoothies, chopping veggies, mixing ingredients for stuffed beef pie, etc. It’s been working great so far. User friendly and everything goes smoothly (no problem at all) and easy to clean each part too. Also, it looks really nice and stylish in my kitchen too.

I love how it cuts to small pieces in no time. I love how helps me cut my cooking time in half. We love making ice creams, shakes, soups pure, cutting veggies for various dishes. It’s really easy to clean as it doesn’t have those small, hard to clean places. It’s pretty light and the suctions underneath are very strong. I’m very happy with this product.

Compact kitchen helper
I put this food processer to the test in a normal day in my kitchen and I'm happy with the results. It crushed the biscuits for a slice quickly although I learnt not to use more than one packet of biscuits at a time, made short work of the cabbage and carrots for coleslaw & the zucchini & carrots for a quiche. The slicing blade and the grater being reversible makes for compact storage but also allows some big pieces of vegetables to get into the bowl when using the grater side. All in all not a big deal bit a bit annoying. The blender did a good job with a banana smoothin but struggled to create consistent ice sizes when making a slushy. A good blender for most people

Easy to use, good all rounder
Found this product to be more powerful than it looks. Love that all the parts are dishwasher safe and the suction feet which stops it from sliding around. Would prefer if it was easier to store/more compact.
