Stylish and convenient
I really liked the Russell Hobbs kettle from the moment I received it. I compared it with my cheap kmart kettle and in almost all categories the Russell Hobbs one stood out highly. I really like the sophisticated style and slim design of the kettle and the fact that it accessorises the kitchen. I found the handle, lid and pouring prout much better than on my kettle. The handle is slim and easy to hold and the lid has a spot to touch when hot without burning your fingers. I also tried really hard but could not spill any water around the pouring sprout proving its great design. The filter also is a thoughtful feature, not to mention the quiet technology and blue light while boiling. Compared to my current kettle, this one is much quieter and faster - so it is the absolute winner. It is slightly heavier than my kettle but considering all features of this item, this factor haven’t had any significance and overall, the positive features outweighted this slight inconvenience.

Amazing kettle
Love the colour, the matt champagne colour that will just about match everything and anything. Matt finish also means scratches are less obvious, and love the silver on the bottom to break up the champagne colour with the base. The lid is soft closing, very quiet and opens gently without that flicker of burning hot water should you need to open the kettle straight after boiling. The spout is not too wide so it makes for easy pouring and aiming into the cup without making a mess. Love the window on the side so you can see how much water is in there and also it lights up a nice bright blue when it's boiling. Switch to turn on is easy to use -just flick on and off. The boiling is not too loud, pretty quiet compared to other kettles I have had. And quite quick too. I highly recommend this kettle!

Boil quietly and it's beautiful
The kettle is beautiful. I love the champagne finish. Large to boil enough water to my family and easy to see the water level through the window. I like the perfect pour spout too and the silence while it's boiling the water.

Stylish and comfortable kettle to use.
The kettle looks stylish with cool outlook. The boiling sound is quiet compared to previous kettles but not too quiet as mentioned. The spout is perfect to pour the water with no spill. The Handle is comfortable to hold and big.The light looks classy but cleaning is a bit difficult as it has a ring inside so need to use vinegar and lemon while boiling the water to clean.Overall looks good and worthy for the money we spent.

Fantastic and stylish kettle!
The Russell Hobbs ‘Brooklyn’ kettle in Champagne is a stylish addition to my kitchen. With quiet boil technology in a 1.7 litre capacity a quick cuppa is only a minute or two away. Boasting a 2 year warranty for peace of mind, as well as a ‘perfect pour’ spout, easy push button flip top lid for ease of filling. This kettle also features a clear illuminated fill indicator window in addition to a removable, washable anti scale filter. I have been exceptionally impressed with this kettle - a definite must for me.

Whisper quiet, super fast kettle
The Russell Hobbs Brooklyn Kettle simply does exactly what a kettle should & does it perfectly. It's quiet, it's fast, it has a cool blue light to show that it's on. Finally, it looks amazing. I have the Copper version. 5/5.

Nice and quiet
Lovely quiet kettle. A little difficult to see the water level due to position of the water window, but nil complaints otherwise. Quick to boil and very quiet.

Functional and stylish
Great kettle that has a press button to pop the lid open and contains a blue indicator light to show you that it's operational. The kettle also looks stylish in the kitchen and boils quietly which is great as I've used other kettles that is a lot more noisy.
