The Perfect Family Toaster

Could be better
I wanted to love this toaster. It looks nice on the bench, I love the stainless steel. But it doesn't cook both sides of the bread consistently. One side will be cooked and the other still white and that's its biggest downfall. I kept using it to see if it was just because it was new but a few weeks in and its still the same.

Practical toster for any kitchen
This toster is a good addition to our kitchen. It looks great and is super practical to use, easy to use settings to toast just as we like it and blends in perfectly int he kitchen.

Almost the perfect toast!
I love how high the toast is popped. The defrost & reheat buttons are a bonus as is the dual heating dials. The only negative is that I found one side of the bread didn’t toast as well as the other.

Sleek, easy to clean toaster
The Russell Hobbs Addison 4 slice toaster has perfect functionality - dual browning controls with defrost and keep warm buttons. The width is wide enough for your thicker slices of bread, and it has an easy to clean top with no grooves for breadcrumbs to get stuck. The crumb tray is also easy to use at the bottom of the toaster. I found it heats bread very evenly, and unlike my old toaster, it crisped up the toast without creating sections of dark brown, which is exactly how it is meant to be!

When Posh and Practicality Come Together
A quality product that is evident in its elegant style and inclusions I expect from a toaster, that others often don't have! From sturdy Bread carriage levers, wide Toasting slots and easy cleaning of crumb trays, this is an appliance that may be particularly good for families, hospitality venues and catering for groups. I say this particularly for its bulk in size, perhaps a little large for small kitchens and groups. The design has a wonderful starting position of the Bread Carriage lift, where the bread sits higher in the toasting slot. Therefore, it's unlikely to have the issues of removing toast after cooking. If smaller products do get stuck, there is the ability to manually use the lever, making access to toast even easier! No more stuck toast, in fact perhaps it could be slightly lower to avoid toast bouncing out onto the bench at times! The best results achieved were on thick raisin toast, perfect! Although Gluten Free and thin bread, browning was less consistent.

Not what I expected from Russell Hobbs
This was not what I expected from this brand. The toaster was quite light and the levers were flimsy. When the toast popped it was cooked more on one side than the other, and that was testing different slots to cook it in. This unfortunately will not be replacing our old toaster yet.

Stylish and functional
I thoroughly enjoyed trialling this toaster by Russell Hobbs. It is designed nicely with brushed stainless steel and stops all the fingerprints! It is a 4 slice toaster so perfect for my family of 3 and also handy and quick when entertaining. It features browning control dials which is great as I like my toast crispy whereas I only lightly toast bread for my little one. It is well made and sturdy.

Great toaster for a family!
This toaster looks really nice and modern. It’s not to bully like our last one. We found the first few goes toasting it cooked one side more than the other but it’s good now, nice and even on both sides. The buttons are nice and strong and don’t feel cheap. Would definitely recommend

Functional Stylish Toaster
Russell Hobbs is an excellent premium brand, this toaster is stylish, functional and toasts quickly. Excellent for crumpets, they wide slots insure bread/crumpet doesn't get stuck. The frozen function is also handy. Brushed steel makes it a joy to clean, wipe over with damp cloth.
