Very detailed
We received this sample during moving house so it wasn't the best time to build. It took us more than 7 days to complete as there was a lot of detail and some parts were quite time consuming. The instructions were clear but my 7yo lost interest very quickly so we just did a little bit each day. The Lego people are different to normal Lego people in other sets which makes it hard to play with more characters you already have. Some of the detail I found to be unnecessary as when we were trying to play with it, they always broke off (I'm looking at you flowers everywhere). Some of the little kitchen things are very cute and there is significant detail. Good for a build but time consuming for a young one, fun to play with as long as some things are removed. I wouldn't pay $100 for it.

Such cute and fun toy everyone can play
This is such a fun playset for kids and adults alike. It's hardy and the quality you'd expect from Lego. Our daughter had COVID and played with this set for hours on hours (hence I have not photos). It really took her mind off feeling a bit ill. It is such a positive and creative playset to have and I highly recommend it.

Endless fun
My daughter was so excited to open this Lego Friends Canal Houseboat play set especially because it comes with new characters of the mini figurines, and the cute little animal. She had lots of fun building it, learning to follow the instructions, and playing with it. This playset really encourages her creativity and imaginations. She could play with it hours and hours. It is an endless fun.

Filled with Fun and Excitement
Lego Friends Canal Houseboat playset is filled with hours of fun and excitement! My daughter and I had a great time working together to build this set. The design of the playset created a great opportunity to build something that my daughter would enjoy building and they were able to use their own imaginations to explore their own world within the Houseboat. She loved playing with the finished products for hours using her imagination to play with the house boat and her new lego figurines.

Fun LEGO set
The build was fairly simple and easy to follow. My daughter loves to play with it and doesn't seem get bored of it. I like that the characters are very diverse but I would liked it more if they where part of the LEGO SYSTEM standard. The only other thing that irked me was that this product is unnecessarily marketed towards girls when this would be suitable for any child.

Simply enthralling
My girls loved playing with the LEGO Friends Canal Houseboat playset. Once they started they did not want to stop. Even their brothers were roped in to help. It was so good to see them take to it so well. There was more cooperation than I expected. I have already recommended this playset to friends.

Great Lego playset!
The Lego Friends Canal Houseboat playset is perfect for children of many ages, and it keeps them entertained for a long time. My children really enjoyed building it as well as playing with the boat and characters. It allows children to use their critical thinking skills as well as creativity & other useful skills while having fun. All Lego items I have encountered in the past have always been great quality and they come with detailed instructions.

Great chance for role play!
My daughter loves playing with the Lego Friends Canal Boat. She needs to make sure it is when her younger sister is asleep as it breaks easily with little kids. It took about 2hrs and 10mins to build the canal boat. The instructions were explicit and comprehensive. My daughter did not have the focus to stay that long but kept coming in and out. She loved looking at the accessories as it was being built. It is a great size to be moved around. Sometimes my daughter brings it to the floor while watching tv. Sometimes she plays with it on the table. My daughter loves the little attention to detail like the x-box controller, the toilet, the lamps, the bicycle, the hidden tools at the end of the bed etc. At 7 years old, she doesn't quite understand the eco-friendly aspect yet, but likes putting it in Mia's shack or in the kitchen or pretends to feed it to the pets. Would definitely recommend this to friends!

Cruise on the Lego Houseboat
I was very impressed with this Lego set and it is a great addition to my childs collection. The size of the boat is amazing and has some nice realistic design elements that enhance the playability. I really like how the top is removable so you can see inside and play. The instructions were clear and easy to follow and it was a really fun set to build and then play with. It has a great selection of pieces in different colours and a good assortment of figures.

So Good!
Ok so I was a bit sceptical but this set was fantastic. We ended up making it a whole family activity that brought us together every night! Even my 3 year old got involved (under supervision of course). There were some tricky bits that 7-10yrs may have difficulty with but it was few and far between, a little adult assistance and they are well on their way again. Once built there are so many different elements to let my child role play different scenarios. She has fallen in love with Lego friends and we will definitely be purchasing more. I’m even decided what room we can turn into a Lego room!

Creative play for girls
My daughters loved the canal house and played with it for ages. They regularly play and build Lego and really enjoy it- this set was no different. They actually removed the roof of the boat and put it next to the boat so they could get the characters into the kitchen. They played with this set the same as they would any other lego set. I like the thought of introducing the eco friendly ideas etc but more of this probably should be on the box in larger text to encourage purchase.

Boat-tastic adventure
It took a couple of days and some help from mum, but my daughter loved building the house boat. Each part she built there was more questions, about what it did or what it was for. She loved and was excited to build each area. The “diamonds” were her favourite part. As soon as she was finished building it she was playing, making up names for the people and just having fun. It’s her “special” toy now in pride of place on her draws. I love the packaging it was easy to see what was in the box. Clearly marked bags meant following the instructions was easy for a little girl. What more it’s a set you can play with and not be worried it will keep falling apart. Plus she let me have a turn lol.

Hours of fun
My daughter had so much fun building this set. She has literally spent hours playing with it once the canal houseboat was fully built. It is fantastic for imaginative play. She says it is the most awesome Lego set she has ever had.

Hours and hours of fun. Love it.
Hours and Hours of fun. From building to playing with the set, kept my 10 year old occupied both mind and physically. She loved the set and hasn't stopped playing with it since she got it.
