Absolutely loved the taste of this product. Especially loved the fact that it is a product of Australia and it’s family owned and operated. Delicious on its own or the perfect indulgence to a platter. A little on the expensive side but would definitely but again as a special treat. Would recommend to family and friends!

The Huon Premium Tasmanian Cold smoked salmon is one of the best premium products out there on the market that has a great satisfying taste, a great smell and also a lovely presentation of uses that can be catered for any type of setting. The taste of the product is very satisfying and can be used in biscuits, toast and other variety of sides that you want to platter it up with. The texture is very thin and can be combined with other ingredients. Though what i liked about is it that it went well with my bagel and it was a nice compliment with other healthy ingredients to make myself the perfect bagel for consumption. I would love to use this again and try it out with other different methods of using this product.

a bit too salty, the texture is soft, sliced way too thick and not trimmed well so lots of bloodlines and outer rind.

This smoked salmon has a very distinct smoked flavour which some people may enjoy but it does I feel overpower every other ingreient in the meal. It is thicker than other brand again a personal preference. It is fresh and the size of the packet is good. I prefer less smoked tasting varieties. It would be best mixed in creamy sauces for pasta dishes rather than on crackers alone again because of the distinct smoked flavour.
