Absolutely love the taste of the pancake
Just left the taste the whole-grain, oat original pancakes very easy to make the children love them too. I cannot recommend them enough they were fantastic.

Convenient and versatile
I loved the convenience and versatility of Heinz Organic Pancake Mix, and so did my toddler. The pancake mix was easy to prepare, I tried it with both oil and butter and both options worked perfectly. I loved the fact that you could add other flavours to the basic mix and just make one pancake, quickly and easily. We have been going through a really fussy stage with food lately and this mix has allowed us to adapt. I tried adding grated zucchini and carrot; corn, blueberries and strawberries and had great results. My son ate all variations happily and independently. It comes in a handy resealable package that is perfect for portion control. I have already purchased this product again.

Plain
They had no taste to them, they tasted very bland. I gave some to my little one and she ate one but then didn’t want anymore. I tried to put one of her favourite toppings on for her and she still just refused to eat them. In my opinion they were easy to make and involve my little one in the mixing process, they were flavourless, they looked fine though, they felt smooth in my mouth, they didn’t really smell like anything. That was about all that I really observed.

Convenient, need to add extra flavour
I tried the Heinz organic pancake mix and thought it was a healthy addition to a meal. However, I did need to add in extra flavour to make it more palatable. I added grated zucchini, as suggested by the packet directions, and I also added a generous amount of cheddar cheese. This made it so much better. I did enjoy the fact that the ingredients are all healthy, flours such as buckwheat, sorghum and wholegrain oat flour are included. I think the directions to make the pancakes should be for the entire contents rather than making one pancake at a time. I had to calculate the correct ratio of milk and oil to add correctly into the mix. I then had to add extra milk to thin out the batter as it was very thick. I think this is a healthy option for children.

Tasty Organic Pancakes
I was pleasantly surprised by the taste of this pancake mix. A lot of premixed pancakes do not taste anywhere near as good as homemade ones. These were so easy to make and tasted great too. Little bit of maple syrup dribbled over these and there were YUM!

Terrible, bland, thin mixture.
Mix never thickened even with added extra dry ingredient and waiting time and was thin like crepe mixture. This made it difficult to cook and flip. Cooked mixture was terrible and bland. Toddler did not like it and she is not fussy. I tasted it, it was awful. Shocked this product has passed quality control and is on shelves for parents to buy. I'm an avid home cook who makes various homemade pancakes regularly and if it doesn't work for me, most people will struggle with it.

Didn't live up to expectations
We found the mix a bit dry and needed to add extra milk. My son asked for honey and said they didn't taste very nice, he is two so I had a try and they were tasteless. The mixture was easy to mix and they were easy to cook but I do think they just needed a little something to give them a bit of taste.
