Delicious! Can’t tell it’s salt reduced!
This taste like the gravy from the pub! Beautiful! Usually I am very picky and I love my salt so I was hesitant to try this, I thought it may be bland but I was WRONG! I’ll be buying this gravy from now on. Went absolutely amazing with my roast dinner and have also used it on chicken and gravy rolls! Highly recommend!

Gravox Traditional Gravy Salt Reduced
The Gravox Traditional Gravy Salt Reduced was pretty good. I made it without any clumps & it had a nice flavour to it. It was a little bland but nothing that a little bit of juicy meat couldnt fix. It's not overpowering which is nice & would recommend this option of the gravy if you were looking to reduce your sodium intake. its nice!

It’s all gravy
I’ve used a lot of Gravox products over the years but have recently switched to another brand. I was pleasantly surprised at the flavour of the salt reduced traditional gravy mix, it was a great accompaniment to roast chicken. Although salt reduced it still had good depth of flavour.

No need for salt!
Surprised the gravy mix tasted so good and had no added meat by products so we could have it with our vege meals. Adding italian herbs gave the gravy a bit more zing! I would recommend it on Mash, side of meats or even with plain vegetables.

Convenient gravy
This gravy was super easy to make as you just add boiling water and stir, however next time I’ll probably use less water as it was a little runny for my liking. It was also pretty tasty for a salt-reduced sauce.

thick and saucy
I loved the taste. I don’t consume beef so tried it with chicken breast. Definitely enhances the taste of the meat. Loved it with some mashed potatoes. Do try it

Tastes and smells very yummy

Convenient but at the cost of flavour
Gravox gravy mixes have a mixed history in my experience - great convenience, but sometimes lacking the flavour and luxurious texture one would expect from a gravy. When offered the opp to text this, the salt reduced mix was appealing, but in reality it impacted flavour quality. I had the gravy with roast lamb and vegetables and it was a tasty addition, and was much simpler to make than gravy from scratch. But, if this was a special occasion meal I’d probably put in the effort to make it from scratch.

Household approved, but no for me
I tested Gravox Traditional Salt-Reduced Gravy, and overall, it was a convenient option. The preparation was simple—it only took a few minutes to make enough for the whole household. No one seemed to have any issues with it, and the texture and appearance were just fine. That said, for me, the flavor didn’t quite hit the mark. While it’s a decent choice for those in need of a quick and easy gravy, I personally prefer the depth and richness of homemade gravy. If you’re after convenience, it’s definitely a workable option, but for my taste, I’d probably stick to making my own.

Easy to make
I was happy to try the salt reduced gravox gravy powder, as the regular one was too salty for my liking. I really enjoyed this on sausages and mashed potato and steak and mash. I used this gravy instead of adding salt to my dishes. It added a really nice flavour to my meals. The gravy is super simple to make which is an added bonus, I also added the juice from the steak to intensify the flavour of the sauce.

The perfect gravy
Overall this gravy was perfect! Delicious flavour. The gravy doesn’t have an overpowering salty flavour like most gravy’s do. It made me want to drench more gravy over my food - could not get enough!!

This gravy needs a pep talk
Gravox Traditional Salt Reduced Gravy Mix Tin had me hopeful. It mixed like a champ into silky smooth gravy, making me think I was about to experience something truly delightful. But, erg, that was where the good ended. It is missing something, some key component that would take it from meh to marvellous. And no, I am not talking about salt. There is just an emptiness in the flavour, like it is waiting for a final ingredient that never arrives. It is the gravy equivalent of a handshake that is just a little too weak. If you are willing to doctor it up, you might coax some excitement out of it. But straight from the tin, it just does not deliver the rich, hearty oomph a good gravy should. Gravox, I wanted to love this, but I need more than just a smooth texture. I need flavour that actually shows up to the party.

Healthier and speedy gravy
The gravy is so quick and easy to make, taking less than 5 minutes to put together. I love the convenience to add quickly to a meal. The flavour is full and not bland with a creamy gravy texture. I would recommend this gravy as a quick addition to any meal and it's a bonus that it's salt reduced for those who are health conscious.
