ghd Duet Blowdry

What a lovely surprise to receive this new GHD blow dry brush in the mail to Try and review. I absolutely love using this blow dry brush, it works great to give definition, volume and shape. This brush polishes the hair beautifully. I love the professional long cord it has on it and it comes with the most beautiful leather carry bag that can also be used as protecting a heat mat too! I like that it has a handy tool to clean the brush too! Amazing. It is such a good quality and heats up so fast while also not being too hot for the hair. I havnt used my straightener since trying this. My only suggestion would be to possibly need a heat protectant glove as it does get really warm to touch. I am an hairdresser by trade and overall I love it and would highly recommend it. Thankyou

The ghd Duet dryer is very simple and easy to use. it heated up very quickly which was great. The volumizer cream added some extra thickness to my hair, in conjunction with the ghd drier. My hair has never felt so thick and styled before, especially when trying to do it myself! It felt like I had been to the hairdresser to get the results that I did. My only thought was that the next morning, my hair needed a fair bit of restyling again with the dryer but it wasn't too much of a problem. A quick go-over with the ghd and I was ready to roll. Great product, can't wait to spread the word once the product is on the market! :)

I was very excited to get to try this unique product. The box was sleek and professional quality. It would definitely stand out on shelf. The tool has its own beautifully crafted bag that will be great to show off and fantastic for travel. The unit powers up and reaches temperature very quickly. So no sitting around waiting. It also comes with a little cleaning tool that easily removes any stray hairs that may have been caught on the tool. It was easy to use on any length of hair. I used it on my daughters hair as well. The results were great, with extra smoothness, extra volume and way less tangles. It was long lasting too between washes. I would definitely recommend this product as it has definite results right away.

This product does what it says- it does create volume to my hair and last for 2 days. Upon application, it's quite simple to use. However, due to its weight and size, it's a little bit towards the heavier side. I have quite thick hair, so it does take a while to dry my hair. I find drying the root of the hair is little bit difficult. So on my third use, I use my normal blow dryer to dry my hair roots, and use this duet blower to volumize my hair. Of course, I trialled this product with the GHD volume forever cream as well. They work wonders together. I'm also abit cautious using this product as I almost burnt myself using this first time. It's fine after the 2nd use and thereafter.

Loved the results and how easy it is to use. I liked that it’s so handy and wonderful sleek design. Good for a quick hair fix and I liked how my hair look. Now I really feel that it has become my best friend.

This product is amazing. It is so quick and easy to use and does not damage your hair at Or making hair wash day now not something that I dread. It doesn’t feel as though it’s frying your hair like many other hairdryers do as it evenly distributes air

I loved this brush, I have quite thin hair and at the moment busted shoulders so styling my hair is not something I considered possible. I also have a very stubborn kink in one side that for some reason won't stay straight..until now! The fact that it is a brush and blowdryer in one means I don't have to mess with the angle of holding the brush and hair dryer and that is less pressure on my shoulder. The 3x more volume really depends on how you style it but it is certainly easy to achieve. I also love the look of the brush as well. It is on the slightly heavier side so be careful not to brain yourself however, it is easy to use and comes with a cleaning tool and heat resistant mat that turns into a bag for it. I also used it on my mum and friend. For thicker hair it's perfect. It still helps with older thinning hair but you won't notice the volumising quite as much. Still a flvery nice and quick result though. In short I love it and It will replace 2-3of my existing hair styling tools

My hair looks a million times sleeker and shinier!! I have thick Asian hair about 10cm past my shoulders, with bleached sections, and usually wear it in a very casual down with a soft curve at the end style. Using the duet blowdry I can very evidently feel a difference in the quality of how my hair looks - so much less frizz, and my hair has a natural airy look to it. I'd compare this vs a traditional hot tool to be instead of everything being dead flat, the duet blowdry makes it look like my hair is naturally this amazing and bouncy. Upon turning it on there is a faint plasticky smell, but that goes away pretty fast. It's quieter than my current hairdryer but it's at a higher pitch, so it can be annoying for some people, but I find it okay to work with. It does take longer to dry than a traditional blowdryer though! I also find that the heat sensor possibly struggles with going between my bleached and non-bleached sections, sometimes it feels a little overly hot. I love it though!

The ghd duet blowdry is as a high-performance tool designed for salon-quality results at home. I really like the sleek design though it is a bit heavy for prolonged use. The grip of the tool is very comfortable which makes it easy to use. There's only one heat setting and will take few seconds to notify user that it is ready to use. For me, I prefer the simple setting over complicated ones. The controls are intuitively placed and straightforward, making it user-friendly even for beginners.Also, the ghd duet blowdry includes a hair remover tool which is a plus for me as my hair gets tangled and tend to suffer from hair fall. In terms of noise levels, I'm not bothered and I think it is pretty manageable. I am quite impressed to have a salon like blowdry at the comfort of my own home.

This GHD product was quite heavy to hold & manipulate. It is very quick to heat up & ready to use straight away, the brush being circular glided effortlessly through the hair & dried quickly also, leaving the hair with volume & shine.

I was sooo sceptical about using a blow dryer on my hair - it’s fine but there is a lot of wavy hair. Guess what! I love it and once you get the hang of handling the styler (a little heavy and big in your hand) it actually dried my hair really quickly. And definitely not as tricky as using my old blow dryer and styling brush. The ghd Duet Blowdry did the job of 3 styling tools! And…. It also styled my hair without using a hair straightener. Only thing that would improve styling would be if there was a smaller brush attachment for shorter/finer hair. Otherwise this is 10/10.

I have never been able to blow-dry my hair well so going to the salon was always a treat. I used this product on my hair and it looked like my hairdresser had just blow-dried my hair. My husband thought I looked like I had just had my hair professionally done. I am very impressed with the results considering I am pretty uncoordinated with hair styling products. My only negative comment is that it's on the heavy side and the end to grip and hold needs to be longer so that you're not grabbing the hot area which I did several times. I have chin length hair at the moment and it worked so well.

Ghd has done it again with an outstanding product. This 2-in-1 hair dryer brush, simultaneously drys and styles your hair to create a flawlessly smooth, frizz and flyaway free finish. I wasn't sure what to expect but it honestly blew me away. So easy to use, quickly drys and styles your hair beautifully. I love using this to get my hair ready in the morning. So easy to use and makes my hair feel lovely and fresh.

Wow! This is the first time I’ve used a product like this, typically I have a pretty basic hair routine, but I’ve always been curious how these products work, and I am so pleasantly surprised and kinda wish I got one a long time ago haha. Once I got the hang of how to manoeuvre it best for my hair, I was obsessed! I have forever struggled with wild frizz, and the magic this thing has in keeping the flyaways smoothed down is just 10/10! Finally, the smooth hair of my dreams! My daughter is equally pleased with the results she gets when I’ve used it on her, giving her a beautiful little flick on the ends of her hair as well as some much needed volume.

I have fine, lack lustre hair that I wash three times a week. Since having the brush I have not used my hairdryer or straighteners, I have had no need to. It adds volume and bounce to my hair, and leaves it frizz free enough to leave the house! My only complaint is the cord could be longer, but that’s only because my mirror and socket are so far apart! I have no regrets using this brush! It’s much quieter than the hairdryer, too.
