Foster Clarks Custard
Foster Clarks long life custard is an acceptable substitute for fresh dairy custard, however it is not something I would go out of my way to buy. Whilst the overall taste and texture is comparable to fresh custard, it does have a slightly "chemical" or "processed" after taste. I had tasted the custard on its own, however the after taste may not be as noticeable if consumed with other ingredients. With this in mind I would consider using it if a recipe called for custard, and fresh custard was not available.

Custard Lover Say's Yes
My son loves custard so he was my chief taster for this product. Consistency was great warm or cold, taste was on par with some of the expensive fresh custards and went well with a number of deserts.

Clarke’s vanilla custard
Clarke’s vanilla custard is a perfect item to have in the cupboard. Creamy custard made from Australian milk is perfect desert with banana. Highly recommend.

Delicious!
You know what is the best thing about this product? My mother made this for us as kids so it takes me back to my childhood. Sweet, creamy and perfect to pair with almost every dessert. I use it on top of a warm apple crumble or I sometimes mix it with chocolate or caramel. I also recommend to try it with ice cream! By far, the best custard brand!

Vanilla Custard
This ready to eat vanilla custard is wonderful by itself and goes so well with sliced fruits, the texture is the right thickness and it has a lovely vanilla flavour. It is rich, smooth & creamy and has a really deep vanilla taste. The packaging is easy to pour and so convenient to keep in the fridge. I served it to my friends on Christmas eve as a fruit custard and they really loved it.

A staple in every household!
I’ve poured this over my fruit bowls - strawberries, bananas, kiwis etc. tastes extra delicious! I like how it’s not SUPER sweet but has a creamy texture. Good for jelly or custard tart as well.

Yummy, thick but not to sweet

Love how easy this is
I love how easy this can make a dessert. I had this on apple pie and it was divine. Wasn’t watery which was what I was expecting. I do generally prefer the thicker custard but this was still really good

Easy to have anytime
Being ready made and having a long shelf life, this custard is easy to have on hand. Goes well with apple pie and ice cream. I can see this as a good option for camping or when you have limited fridge space.
