Small and Mighty
The Breville Bambino Espresso machine is sleek and stylish and takes up very little kitchen space. With its aluminium finish it can also fit in nicely with other appliances. Considering its simple design and few buttons, using the machine is really easy and it does exactly what you need to in a very small amount of time. From powering it on to first drip of coffee is a matter of seconds. Even just using the machine for hot water is instant and certainly beats waiting for the kettle to boil. For basic single or shot espressos it really does do everything you need and with the built in milk frother, after eventually getting the hang of using it properly, you'll be able to make a half decent latte or cappuccino in no time at all. I found finer blends tend to produce the smoothest coffee. Overall I found the machine to be simple and quick to use. The lightness of it can sometimes make it feel a tad flimsy, but you just learn not to be so heavy handed with it.

A good machine for new and old users.
The machine looks modern, slick and attractive. The machine will capture attention in your kitchen. Out of the box can be a little daunting, ultimately it requires some googling or prior coffee knowledge to know exactly what you are doing. The app with virtual instructions is helpful but the instructions themselves are lacking detail/clarity in some instances, a good 90 minutes is need to really get your head around everything. For example I had no idea how to remove the filter basket from the Portafilter and assumed I could do it by hand, from youtube it appears you need to scoop it out with something metal such as another filter basket. I felt confused that something wasn't mentioned about the in the instructions. Overall I am enjoying learning using it, the machine panel itself is easy to use and I had relative success making my first coffees and the guidelines to brewing is something that is covered well.

The perfectly sized espresso machine!
I was overall very pleased with the Breville Bambino espresso machine! I found the size particularly convenient, with most kitchens you don’t have enough space to cater for a huge coffee machine - but this machine fits beautifully on our counter along side out kettle. I love how consistent this machine is - if you follow the recommended dosage and instructions your coffee tastes great every time! The milk wand is powerful and heated and stripped my milk perfectly! It cleans easy and is very very easy to use!! I would recommend this machine to many one who wants the professional taste of coffee without the hassle of a huge machine.

Beginners intro to at-home espresso
The Breville Bambino is a great beginners espresso machine. I appreciate the small footprint, not much more than my pod machine before it, as I have a small kitchen. The water tank is easy to refill, just watch you put both group head and steam wand in a container to get set up (I didn’t realise and steam wand spat hot water all over the bench). The machine is lightweight which might be good for travelling but means it is a two handed operation to use the group handle. Doesn’t come with milk jug but I bought one and can get a decent froth. Plastic tamper included, group handle isn’t commercial size so commercial tampers won’t fit. I’ve only tested two coffees at a time, not sure if it could handle many more with small boiler size. Overall able to make a nice coffee provided you have the coffee ground and tamped right. Personally wouldn’t bother with the extra effort over a good pod machine as coffee is only marginally better.

Great coffee machine gets two thumbs up
The machine looks great, very modern and sleek. Not too bulky which is good because no one wants a bulky coffee machine to take up bench space. Heats quickly, pours well and the steam wand steams up well which is something other coffee machines don't do well. With the two coffee blends we tried they both came out with a nice golden crema not as thick as an industrial machine would produce but still silky and smooth enough to make a good coffee at home. It's easy to use, and looks great in the kitchen I am sure whoever buys one will be happy with it.

Breville Bambimo coffee machine review
This machine is fabulous. It looks sleek and slimline and perfectly fits on my small bench space. I sometimes have a bit of trouble inserting the portafilter into the group head. It seems a bit tight and I have to use a bit of force. The machine could do with some grip underneath as I find it slips on the bench when the portafilter needs some pressure to get in place. The machine is very easy to use and fast once the cup function is selected and the coffee begins to flow out. I had to do some trial and error to get the right amount of coffee in the filter baskets and the correct tamping pressure. I have used a few different coffee blends in this machine and I could tell the difference between the cheaper and more expensive coffee in terms of texture of the coffee ground and taste. My overall experience is positive and I will continue using this wonderful coffee machine.

Form, Function and Caffiene!
Great looking machine, The overall size is fantastic taking up less bench space than my Pod machine. Easy too use and does work well, Our only real gripe is it could be hotter.

Good things do come in small packages
Absolutely smitten with the machine overall. So easy to use and ultra compact compared to other machines with similar functions. Overall I’m very happy, I was surprised it didn’t come with a milk frothing jug however and the big variety stores do t seem to stock jugs by themselves anymore. Would definitely recommend for those who love a good coffee and are confident with frothing milk

Perfect little machine for cafe coffee
The bambino is a fantastic product. It allows you to create excellent cafe quality coffee at home. Much better quality than the nespresso capsules and instant coffee, and only needs a little effort. The machine heats up quickly, it pours coffee with a silky creme and milk froth comes naturally. I have made ten coffees with various blends for myself and guests with the bambino and have only received positive feedback! It has all the functions you need, packed into a compact body for a busy kitchen.

Life saver!
With three kids to keep under wraps, this machine is a life saver for me. It’s so compact and easy to use. It makes having a good coffee at home so easy!

Breville Bambino Espresso Machine
This coffee machine does not produce an acceptable shot based on its expensive price. It stopped working less than a year. It's frustrating to spend more only have them break quickly. It is a substandard product. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Small coffee machine
I have owned a few Breville coffee machines in my time. I own a few decent ones and a few terrible ones. Unfortunately this one was not a winner. Yes I still use it to this day, as it’s for my holiday home. I have a few other items to replace before I can replace that again. It just taste like a poor coffee compared to my other machines. You can use a decent bean and it’s not quite right still.

Great machine for small spaces
If you have a small kitchen/limited bench space and hate a pod coffee then this is the machine for you. The machine itself is sleek and user friendly. The end result is a decent cup of coffee, however there are better at home coffee machines out there.
