I tried the Neutrogena Hydro Boost+ Niacinamide Serum through Home Testers. Overall I would say that I have seen a reduction in the redness on my face. Some days it much less noticeable, other days it seems some of the redness is back, but there is still a reduction. I've also noticed that it has given a little more moisture to my skin, but that also comes with a little more oiliness on my forehead, nose and chin. One thing that I have noticed as well, is that the bottle says to use a pea size amount for your face and neck, but it seems to absorb really fast and not really spread as smoothly as I would like ( that is just a personal preference though. To me it feels like I need a little more to cover the entire area.) I will say it gives my skin a healthier look, but that also comes with the trade off of being a little greasier in the t- zone (though that is not terrible because my nose can get dry). Maybe with even more constant use my skin will even out even more.
I tried the a free sample of the the KAO My Kirei Nourishing Body Wash in Yuzu & Rice water. It has bright, refreshing scent. It says citrus, but mostly I get orange, though not the strong industrial cleaner orange scent, it is more of pleasant fresh fruit kind of smell. The soap itself is thicker and produces a nice lather, which makes it feel like it does a good job cleaning and coverage wise. I do have to say that that after use it did leave my skin feeling clean, but not striped and moisturized. In fact most of the next day it felt like the moisture was still locked into my skin, so it does last longer than just after wash. It did leave my skin feeling a little smoother and more elastic, than tight and dried out. The packaging is unique, it's nice it is recyclable, but you do have to be careful when using the pump not do it too hard or it can kind of collapse. It does leave the skin feeling nourished and healthy, and the nourishing factor lasts longer than the scent.
I tested the Play Day 9" Flying disc and have to say it was a flop. First it is kind of on the flimsy side, it is made of a thinner material, which at first I though might make it a good flyer, but I think it is built wrong. It does not have the right lip on it and being concave without the lip it does not catch the air right. Every time it was thrown it had a tendency to tip down on the right side and then end up turning on it side and then hitting the ground and rolling rather than soaring through the air. It only goes a very short distant flat, then it starts to tip and then it is doomed for the ground. The bright colors are fun and playful and cool, but it does need some flatting and lip to make it more aerodynamic. It could be fun with some some shape redesigning. It is a disc, yes, but a flying disc, not for long.
The Hot Wheels 110 Car Carrying Case itself is made of a heavier duty plastic, which is nice because it does not bend, stretch or crack under the weight of the cars. The wheels, while plastic, are also pretty heavy duty for what they are and roll smoothly. The overall design is nice with the different size compartments, as they fit the normal hot wheel designs, the wider bodies, and the unique shaped cars all nicely. The slots are also easily accessible and it is easy to get the cars in and out with the indent cuts . The sticker on the front is colorful, cool design. The stationary top handle is strong & convenient. Love that it is made in the USA. My only 3 dislikes would be that the extendable handle on top of the case feels kind of flimsy compared to the rest of the case and since it is pulling the weight of all the cars could break. Also the locking plastic divider inside, while a cool design, is also kind of flimsy and it would be nice if there was one on each side.
The U by Kotex Cleanwear Ultra-Thin Pads that I received as a free sample, are light and thin. They provide full coverage side to side, stay dry, and do not leak. They don't feel bulky when wearing and stay put, for the most part. The only two downsides I see are one some of them, the adhesive on the back of some of them, does not seem to hold at all, some it is fine and they stay in place, a few others it like the adhesive is dry and they don't stick at all. The other, which is more of a personal preference is that for regular, they don't seem as long as they used to be from front to back. I know they have a lot of different sizes and lengths, but for some reason these seem shorter and don't seem to provide as much coverage from front to back, which if your active, doesn't cover all of there you want to cover. They are comfortable though, and for the most part keep you dry and worry free.
After trying the Completely Bare Bikini Bump BLASTER, I have to say I am rather disappointed. In terms of eliminating ingrown hairs and bumps, I would say there was almost no difference from before to after, the bumps were still there. The redness was gone, but the bumps themselves were still there. Did it help with irritation, I'd say maybe yes it did sooth them some and reduce redness, but that is about all. It terms of use they were easy to use, and they do smell nice, not smell chemically or obnoxious. I would not call these bump eliminators, rather a soothing after shave balm for irritation.
Colgate Optic White Renewal High Impact White Teeth Whitening Toothpaste seems to do a pretty good job. After the first use, my teeth did seem to be a little whiter overall (it is a small difference, but you could definitely see a that my teeth seemed a little brighter). I like that it foams, so you feel like all your teeth get covered. The taste is not bad, not quite minty. I did notice when brushing that it seemed have a slight warming effect, kind of like if you ever have use muscle cream you get that heating sensation, made me feel like maybe it was actually doing something. While have only used it a couple of times, and can't say much as to a complete overhaul of whiteness for my teeth or to its lasting effect, but for the day to day, it does seem to brighten and leave you with a cleaning feeling mouth after brushing.
I got to try the Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micellar Water for free and would give it a high rating. I like that it was not oily or greasy feeling. It has a nice light scent to it, not any kind of cleaner or chemical smell. A few wipes and it takes makeup off very cleanly. No harsh scrubbing required. Seems like a pretty gentle formula, no reactions or irritation. The only advise I would say is a little goes a long way, use to much and it is a little runny. Overall it works really well.
Overall I really did like this. First it is a very pretty light pink, natural looking color. It also has a real pretty metallic sheen to it and little sparkles throughout, which you can not tell just from looking at it in the bottle. This stuff is amazing
when it comes to dry time, as it actually does dry within 60 seconds or less depending on how thick the coat is, and it is actually dry, not just to the point of tacky. It also has really nice application brush, where you can apply the nail polish in 1-2 strokes
and may just have little touch ups on the edges. One word of advice, it is really thick, so make sure to wipe off your brush pretty good when applying, otherwise it will be kind of gloppy when you apply it. In terms of longevity, I did not notice a major difference
in last time, but I do have to say that I probably don't do the usual tasks other do when wearing nail polish, as I do a lot of outside manual labor with ranch chores and yard work. Quick, Easy, Beautiful
