These are great for journaling and keeping thoughts together. They are surprisingly, durable. These journals come in a variety of colors. The pages seem to be thicker than regular notebook paper.

A teacher favorite
If you want a notebook that can be shoved into a backpack without it getting ruined, then this is the notebook for you. The cover is durable, so it doesn’t bend or tear easily. The pages are thick preventing bleed through, and do not rip out of the book unless done intentionally. There’s a reason these notebooks are a teacher favorite!

Perfect
I really like these books for anything. I like the feel of the book when it’s folded and you’re writing on a brand new page. It makes me want to keep writing when writing on these books.

Great product
Mead composition notebooks are the best and the sale price was so awesome I did a few double takes before ordering. Always would recommend Mead over other brands. They are more sturdy and less likely to tear at the middle seam.

Excellent notebook
I get this notebook for my husband, because he doesn’t like taking notes/records in his phone, he prefers an actual notebook. This is a great quality notebook to help keep organized. He loves it!

Excellent-Not meant to tear pages out
This composition book is for keeping records, making journal entries and science/technical observations and NOT for tearing pages out. If you're looking to tear pages out for little doodles, lists or notes, buy a spiral bound notebook or notepad. This composition book is absolutely perfect for the above mentioned uses. It's tightly bound, has nice-weight pages that don't allow bleeding through ink and is college ruled for extensive note taking, graphs and tables and skipping lines for legibility. Classic "marbled" cover is easy to recognize and multiple books are easy to store.

Used for A long time
This composition notebook features college-ruled lines, which are perfectly spaced for neat handwriting. The college ruling provides ample space for writing while still maximizing the amount of content I can fit on each page. The paper quality is commendable; it’s thick enough to prevent bleed-through from most pens and even markers, which is a huge plus for those of us who like to use different writing instruments. I found that the smooth texture of the pages allows for comfortable writing, whether I'm using a gel pen, ballpoint, or pencil.Had bought these for year, now my kids use them.

Basic ease
I've used these since high school. They are easy to use and good quality. I always wished the paper was easier to tear out, though. Always a decent amount of paper at a good price. Iconic.

Good quality!
I used these notebooks regularly when I was in law school. I continue to use them because I can rely on the papers staying in the notebook. They are not made to be torn out so the pages are reliably affixed. This helps me keep track of topics and booklets.

Better notebooks exist
This composition notebook is not the best style of notebooks on the market. The pages lack pre-punched holes and perforated tear lines for detaching pages. I’ve never understood why these notebooks are a requirement and listed on the school supply lists. Not necessary.

A Durable Classic
These were a staple during school years-you'd get one for each class and use it to take notes. They tend to take the beating of being yanked in and out of a kid's schoolbag. Many a Comp Book cover spent class periods with blue ink slowly penning into the white spaces on the cover. Good binding for journal-writing, too

This notebook will last you. It’s strong and compact for book bags. It’s good for jotting down notes to refer to later or using for classes.
