TOUCAN Wireless Outdoor/Indoor Security Camera

Within about 3 hours of receiving the Toucan Wireless Outdoor/Indoor Security Camera, it was fully charged, installed on the front of our home, and feeding video to the app on my 'Android' phone. After 'playing' with the sensitivity settings, notification settings, and getting the angles correct, the camera did what it is supposed to do, I reside in a cul-de-sac and the camera started recording and sending notifications of vehicles and people moving in front of my home. I did have to reset the sensitivity after about 4 hours as I was getting notified of birds flying by (super high setting). The video feed and still pictures were of high resolution and vehicle details were easy to identify. The issue I did have was attempting to connect the camera to my Amazon Echo. The process while straightforward for an experienced user is a little sketchy (as in you have to physically enter confirmation numbers). I recommend this Camera for home or business use.

Easy setup from installation on outside wall of house to connection of the wireless to the camera. I used the single screw method to install to my outdoor wall over garage door. After charging up the camera itself, it just magnetically clipped to the mount and has been taking clear shots both night and day. Easy setup, easy operation I will be expanding my Toucan products replacing others that I currently own. Worth it!

The camera was very easy to set up. The picture and sound is good. I like the magnetic attachment to the mounting plate. It appears to be a well made solid devise. My only issue, and it's a big one., is there is a monthly fee to use it.

Pleasantly surprised on the clarity video playback ,pleased it has grid area where you have option to remove or should say hide the area doing false movements.

The quality is good, the feed is easily accessible via the app, & it's compact. When I first got it I put it to charge & about an hour later it showed it was full but then when I tried to set it up the charge didn't last so I had to plug it back in which left me questioning whether or not the indicator was correct & if it would even last. Set up itself was fairly simple, though I had to try it a few times before it worked. I tried it in two different places of my residence & both shots were good. Night vision was basically nonexistent for me, which was a bit of a bummer. The siren alarm feature reminds me of what you'd hear on a child's toy. It would be nice if there was an SD card slot so you don't have to pay the fee to extend your access to recordings, but on the bright side the fee is low. The motion sensor is extremely sensitive, which can be annoying because you'll get alerted over every little thing. Compared to the other smart security cameras, this one isn't bad at all.

I received and opened and was impressed in general with the size and quality of the product. Then read instruction and had to charge first That didn’t take very long about an hour. Then because it was pretty late I set it up in the living room and went to bed! First I love the picture it was very clear, two I love the fact that you can speak and that it has sound that impressed me the most because my current security system does not offer this. Finally I am satisfied, impressed and look forward to finding more to buy!

The camera works well and you can talk to others through it. I would have given it 5 stars, but there is quite a bot of lagging.

I absolutely love this amazing camera!! It is so easy to install and the magnetic base is super strong. The charge on it is very quick and lasts a good while. I like that it easily slips off the magnetic base to charge and that it is small and stylish. The features on it are absolutley awesome. I love that you can talk through the camera and that it also has customizable messages along with preset messages. Theadded feature of the free 24 hour history is great to go back and check videos at the end of the day. It is also motion sensored and is weather resistant. I am just floored with the quality of the video as well, it's very high def and is perfectly clear atnight.

Picks up the signal and works great! Great view span. I like how the camera is mounted using a magnet. Makes it easy to charge when needed.

I love this product it was very easy to use, I had not problems installing. It is a very cute small camera not big or bulky at all. It can fit just about anywhere.

We bought this after buying our home, thinking we would be able to protect our yard. Well, soon after, we had someone come in our yard uninvited. Excited to see the video, we were disappointed that it was not clear and so we could bot identify the perp. It now will be more of a deterrent as we moved it to show it was clearly there then recording faces.

These camera were easy to install. I am very pleased with the night vision. Easy to adjust the direction you want to point camera. We don’t have a ton of traffic so battery life seems pretty good. Don’t have to charge very often with just the traffic from neighbors and family. If you do have to charge them, they are easy to take down. Just make sure to install out of reach because they are easy to take down. Captures the motion when people get close to door or point of entry. But motion detection is not great for more than 15 feet unless it’s a big object like a car.

Excellent night vision. Easy to use and can install it anywhere.

This is the second Toucan we have purchased. We bought the first identical product about two and half years ago and are just now replacing it as the original has become defective. For the price, this has been a wonderful tool to accurately alert us of packages and visitors at our front door. We initially purchased when we needed security at a rental and did not want something hardwired, but installed it again once we moved to our home. The installation was easy with the hardware provided. I like that we are able to pause notifications when needed so we don’t receive excessive notifications when doing yard work etc near our front door. The battery lasts at least a month before recharging is needed.
