4.6 5 0 73 73 The Slice® Super-Safe™ Carton Opener is a unique knife with a design that’s ideal for those with dexterity issues or anyone wearing work gloves. Its large, circular handle fits comfortably in the palm for straight, flush cuts. Press the orange button with an index finger to unlock the blade guard. Then, press the tool down, flush, onto the cutting surface and pull to make the cut. Once the 10477 is no longer held against the cutting surface, its blade guard redeploys, keeping the user safe in the event of a slip.

Slice makes opening boxes a breeze. I used to use by kitchen knives, and it would make my knives really dull and I always had to worry about cutting myself. slice has made opening boxes so much easier.

Super Safe Opener

Nifty little tool
Convenient and safe little tool to have around! I particularly love the safety aspect of this. It's nice that no sharp ends are exposed so l feel safe having it around my 5 year old. Very effective at opening packages.

Works
This works better than I thought it would. It is easy to operate and cuts great. It is nice to feel a little more secure using this because of the safety details. The safety shield retracts without any difficulty and quickly springs back into place. There is plenty of contact with the blade to easily cut. I really like this device.

Awesome
I love this opener. The protective shield slides back as you use the safety lock and apply pressure to what you’re opening! There’s no way to accidentally cut yourself, Making the product safe!

Just an Okay Carton Opener
The Slice Super-Safe Carton Opener is just an okay product. Great that it is super-safe. If you have little ones around then there are no worries that they would cut themselves as you have to really work at it to make the opener work. For me the blade doesn't cut deep enough into boxes, therefore I still have to get another blade to finish the job. It would probably work good on cutting the tape on boxes but not on cutting the boxes down. I have tried several times to use this product but it just doesn't do the job for me.

Makes life easier!
Slice® Super-Safe™ Carton Opener makes life easier! It is quick and easy to open a package when using this product. It fits in your hand well and your hand is completely protected from getting cut! I can open a package with this much faster than I use to with only a knife or scissors.

Hard to use
I found this product a little difficult to use. You have to hold down the side to release the blade while pressing down hard enough to open a box. I struggled with it every time.

Amazing
It's amazing and safe not like the traditional cutters which i always fear to use around kids.Its easy to use and can be used with both the hands and most importantly it's secure the blade won't hurt on skin touch.

Unique and handy
I’m kind of a maniac about recycling. Because I do a lot of online shopping I always have boxes to break down, so I was thrilled to test this new kind of carton opener. The Slice Super-Safe Carton Opener is completely different than any box opener I’ve ever seen before. There was actually a bit of a learning curve for me; even after I looked at the illustrations, I had trouble figuring out how it operated, but once I did, everything was great. I love that I can safely carry this in a jacket pocket. My one complaint: it’s a little large for my small hands, but this is a minor issue. Great product!

Super-Safe and Easy To Use
The Slice Super-Safe Carton Opener is truly safe and an effective way to open packages. The blade is fully enclosed until it is in use, making this finger friendly. The blades can also be replaced with just the push of a button. Finally, this tool can easily be used by both right and left handed people. I highly recommend!

The Slice Super-Safe Carton Opener is a nice alternative to steel razor box cutters. It goes through easily and probably more kid safe to have around. Its a nice portable size and I highly recommend it.
