4.6 5 0 73 73 The Slice® Super-Safe™ Carton Opener is a unique knife with a design that’s ideal for those with dexterity issues or anyone wearing work gloves. Its large, circular handle fits comfortably in the palm for straight, flush cuts. Press the orange button with an index finger to unlock the blade guard. Then, press the tool down, flush, onto the cutting surface and pull to make the cut. Once the 10477 is no longer held against the cutting surface, its blade guard redeploys, keeping the user safe in the event of a slip.

Simple and safe
I love how the blade isn’t exposed by default like other box cutters. It is easy to use but not always intuitive of where the blade will be especially when cutting tape of the edges of boxes.

Multipurpose Must Have!
I received the Splice carton opener for free in exchange for review. This is a product that I didn’t know I needed and now can’t live without! I not only use it to open my packages but I use it when I’m creating new art projects and that’s what makes it a must have for me! I highly recommend to all artists!

Great box cutter
The Slice carton cutter is just that - a easy to use carton/box cutter, but has the added benefit of having a safety mechanism in place so that you don't accidentally cut yourself. The blade is safely hidden under a blade guard, and only comes out when pressed onto a cutting surface.

It’s ok
It does the job. It took a few times to get the hang of it. It was awkward to hold and slice. I do appreciate the extra safety with it. It’s not very easy to use on uneven surfaces.

Love this!!!
The is a fantastic product! I love the safety features that keep you from getting cut! I use this at work for opening packages and boxes and it is wonderful! I like the circular shape, it fits better in my hand! I don't have to worry about the blade cutting me wheil it is in my pocket! It is super easy to use and it is a tough tool! I would recommend this to anyone who uses knives to open packages or boxes daily!

Very useful
I open a lot of boxes on any given day. Usually I just grab whatever is Handy enough to pierce through the packing tape. Not anymore. This little gadget is so handy. I love that it has safety features yet super quick and easy to use. It's a real nail saver!

Works Great!
I am super impressed with Slice® Super-Safe™ Carton Opener. It works great and worked better than expected. I used it for cardboard boxes the first use and it worked great. It is super safe to use. It has a safety guard and I am very comfortable using this knowing it is made with safety features. It also has a slot to hang from a lanyard for convenience. I definitely recommend trying this cutter. It is the safest option I have seen yet.
