Moist and Delicious

Good amount of sweetness
Simply sweet vanilla cake has a good amount of sweetness and doesn’t overwhelm you a ton of sugar. The only problem with the product is that it requires a lot more ingredients than other baking mixes.

Awesome Cake!!!
Overall I thought the Cake was AMAZING! I have completely changed my eating habits so being able to use this cake mix along with eating well was perfect for me! It tastes amazing and I look forward to baking another one!

Pretty Pink Box, Pretty Great Taste!
I wasn't sure how the cake mix would be since we don't eat a lot of organic brands. I really like the pretty pink box. It really draws your attention to it (well mine anyway, I love anything pink!). The mixture was easy to throw together and we made cupcakes out of it. The ingredients call for the normal, eggs, milk, butter but adds one that isn't normally used for boxed cake mix, yogurt! We made about 15 cupcakes out of the batter and they were delicious! We didn't even add frosting because they were so good, you didn't need it. The yogurt makes them super moist and they were definitely a hit! I would definitely buy this and love to try other flavors! A+ from our household!

Good, but very very sweet.
Overall, this was okay. Good...but not my favorite. I had to go to the store to get the yogurt, which was a little inconvenient. I had never heard of putting yogurt in a cake so I was not expecting to use it. I will say that the yogurt made the cake very moist! The taste overall was good, but very very sweet.

Just Perfect in Flavor and Consistency
The cupcakes I created from this mix turned out sweet and delicious. I could not even tell it has less sugar in it or that it is organic. It was easy to mix and bake. The cupcakes came out fluffy and light. I could really taste the vanilla within the cupcakes. It was not too much vanilla and not too little, just perfect.

Not at all moist, lacks flavor.
The cake was really dry, and very dense. The flavor was okay, and I didn’t notice the missing sugar. Also it required pans I’m not sure everyone has in their kitchen (2- 8 in round pans), and the directions didn’t offer an alternative for a 9x13.

Cute packaging but a weird cake
The consistency is weird and cooks faster than the baking instructions. I did not have two circle pans so I used one big cake pan. It smells great though and the taste isn’t bad. Definitely not what I expected.

Simply Delicious
Simply Sweet Vanilla Cake Dry Baking Mix is simply so perfect. Easy to make and not cloyingly sweet. Organic and not full of unhealthy, not needed, additives. Love, love, love that it contains less sugar than standard baking mixes. You will not miss the extra sugar. We made mini cakes and didn’t even feel the need to frost them. Left them as is and they were fabulous with tea, coffee and for the kids - a glass of milk. A new family favorite!!

It was easy to make, super tasty moist and delicious.It felt like store brought cakes ,except without real sugar, nobody could tell the difference.No aftertaste of artificial sweeteners.Would definitely buy again Foodstirs Simply sweet vanilla cake dry baking mix.Looking forward to try other flavors!

Rich and buttery
I was really excited that use this mix because it has really great packaging with the colors and layout. I was surprised to see how much butter was required, but excited to taste the finished product. Even though the finished batter was thick (which was indicated in the directions), it was still easy to mix. I made cupcakes and when I took them out of the muffin tins, the bottoms were really greasy due to the large amount of butter used. This was the only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars. The taste was really buttery and not as light as some mixes, which I actually prefer. It had a rich and buttery tase. Overall, I really enjoyed the cupcakes, but may use slightly less butter next time.

Homemade Taste
I was given the opportunity to try this product and I was extremely happy with it. The cake tasted fantastic, it wasn’t to sweet and it baked evenly and perfectly. I honestly thought that it was one of the best tasting Vanilla Cakes I’ve had in a very long time. I make a lot of homemade cakes just so I know everything going into my food. I was very unsure of the cake mix at first because a lot of them are way to sweet and contain hundreds of ingredients. This cake mix has minimal ingredients and is packed full of flavor.
