The prongs are not too sharp, and the cats are very comfortable when they are being groomed. The tines are short enough to reach down to the skin and run smoothly along the back, sides, haunches, shoulders & neck areas.

In my opinion it never would get everything out of the hair it took hours and still had stuff on strands of the hair

Vet Recommended
Every time we visit, my veterinarian uses this comb to check for fleas and dandruff. Though she never finds any extra critters or skin, at one point she highly recommended I use this tool for daily grooming. While on occasion the brush helps detangle my long haired cat's matts, the product is amazing at de-shedding my short and medium haired kitties. Over four years, the tines on the comb have become slightly bent, however this does nothing to hinder the efficacy and I have yet to feel the need to replace them. Bonus, my cats love the experience like a little body massage and I can take the excess hairs and turn them into little ball toys made of cat fur. My furry family members love playing with the little balls especially when I spray them with cat nip. We have officially turned our daily grooming sessions into a quidditch event.

Excellent!
Its easy especially when the dog has ticks... Cause when you comb with it they get stuck to the comb.... Im extremely happy... Thank you for this product I'll definitely recommend it!

Great product
Great product! Basic but works fantastic. I’m not sure it would work great on a large dog with thick fur. But on my Schnoodle and my long haired cat it works very nicely. I would definitely recommend this

Amazing
This is a great comb for picking up my dogs hair. I highly recommend it. It doesn't feel like it's going to break as well. Solid pet comb for getting the hair off of my couch for sure.

Most effective comb out there
I volunteer at a dog rescue. We take in dogs off the streets and dogs from horrible living conditions often loaded with fleas. This comb has been one of the best and most gentle combs we have used to help pick fleas out of the dogs and puppies. It is pain staking work, and having the right products for the task ensures we can relieve the discomfort from each dog in the least stressful manner. I also do not feel as though we are digging at their skin when we use this style comb. I highly recommend it.

Good comb
This is such a handy tool for my pets and it really worked when I needed it. The metal comb is strong and will not break easily as is pretty heavy duty. It runs into my pet hair super quick and without tangling the hair.

Worked well on my cat and she didn't mind it. Comb through fur and removed lose hair, dirt, and a couple fleas.
