Down to the Basics
I received Down to the Basics shampoo to try and I like the shampoo. My hair felt clean and refreshed after using it. I wasn't a fan of the pump on the bottle. It was very hard to get open but the shampoo is great. It's very good for someone with sensitive skin!

Didnt dry my hair
I liked that the pass on the brass purple shampoo did not dry out my hair. Additionally, it did not stain my hands. The only negative I have is that it didn't completely remove all the brass from my hair.

I actually received the Hairitage Down to the Basics Shampoo rather than Pass on the Brass Purple Shampoo. I enjoyed trying it. It is an unscented shampoo which is different from what I usually use, but it worked well.

Shampoo does not stand out
I had used the shampoo a number of times to get a true test of what the product was like. The bottle had a nice pump to make it easy to dispense. The shampoo itself seemed similar to other shampoos I have used in the past. After using the product I did not find anything that would make it stand out. Since it is fragrance free I felt that my hair would fell much lighter and cleaner than other brands. It was an ok product, but I did not feel as though it stood out to me as a better product than what I have.

Made for lovers of all natural things
I've tried Hairitage shampoo and conditioner. I really like that they are as natural as possible, they don't contain harmful chemicals like most other hair care products. Hairitage shampoo Down to the basics by Mindy McKnight does not foam as profusely as regular shampoos. You need to apply more of it. But it copes well with its task - the hair becomes clean and shiny.
