Go hiking in comfort
When I first received the boots I thought they looked good but I was unsure how comfortable they would be but they actually were quite comfortable. I have gone on several hikes with them on and they really hold up to the job. I have used them in the rain and since they are weatherproof my feet stayed dry. I am very impressed with Ozark hiking boots. I definitely recommend these boots and I can honestly say I found a new brand of boots.
Being an avid hiker, I put these shoes through the ringer! On the plus side they held up and have a decent waterproof seal. A few of the cons are regarding the overall breathability of the shoe - it is not something I would prefer for a longer hike (anything over about 2-3 hours). Additionally, it has a very plasticky look and feel; pictures shared. Finally, while these held up for the two or so weeks that I used them almost on a daily basis, they do show the signs of wear and tear early on and I do not expect them to last for an extended period of time. The major positive is compared to most hiking shoes I have used in the past, there are much, much cheaper - like 4x cheaper for the standard hiking shoes I usually purchase. If you are not an avid hiker and want a pair for some one off hikes here and there, this is a good pair not requiring such a hefty investment.
I absolutely love these boots! They fit perfectly to size and I couldn't believe how comfortable they were even after a few hour hike in the mountains.

High quality boots prefer a little wide
Being an avid hiker I have to frequently replace shoes as they wear out quickly and it is expensive replacing $80+ shoes frequently. I am quite happy with the overall value offered by this hiking boots. 1. appearance and design: I feel the black color is more than the other colors. I like the use of leather and rubber in the front. The sole tread provides good grip and support. The midsole could use a little bit of support. 2. Features: The hiking shoes are not truly waterproof but the shoes didn't allow water to seap inside in the shallow lake. 3. Fitting: The shoes fit nicely but would prefer them to be little bit wide. 4. Inside: The shoes are quite comfortable and ergonomic and they look properly stitched to the sole which is helpful. Durability: Overall my few weeks of usage shows a high durability and hope they last atleast a year.
These boots are absolutely amazing so far. Not too heavy, not too warm. Hook, loop double uppers. They are water proof but not too hot to keep your feet sweating. And I suffer from hydrosis. (Sweaty hands and feet) they have toe protection and have came in handy at work. No steel toe but they dont need it. Fit gear for the size of my wide feet. No issues here. A month in and they look like they will hold up for more then 2 years. Try them today! Wish I did sooner!
The Ozark Trail Men's Meadows Waterproof Hiking Boots are pretty good for the price. They really are waterproof and have decent grip and ankle support. Perfect for casual hikes, but maybe not the best for super long trails since the cushioning isn’t the greatest. Overall, a solid budget option for weekend adventurers.
This boot fits well to size and has a nicer memory foam insole that you often don't see on shoes at this price point. Holds up to a quick multi hour hike with out any issue. If this was going to be your main hiking shoe I would advise upgrading the insole but for a weekend walker it works great.

TRAIL BOOTS
I would like to say that for a brand that I never heard of, these boots are very comfortable and well made. They also say waterproof but i didnt have to test them. I wore them on a nice long hike and my feet felt great during and after the hike and the boots held up excellent even after going through some rough terrain. Great boots for anyone that goes on hikes and I am sure that they are good for construction work.
I received Ozark Trails Men’s Meadows Hiking Boots a few weeks ago and I am so impressed by them! They are super durable and made so well and perfect for those difficult hiking trails. I am a huge fan of going to the mountains and hiking up windy and rocky trails and these are perfect for the terrain. I love that they are heavy duty but also light weight enough to not weigh you down. I also love that they are waterproof as I hate when my socks get wet on a hike. I cannot wait for the many hikes I will be taking with these boots!
I’m boots are comfortable! I wore them for around four hours the first day, my feet were not sore like breading on other pairs of boots on the past.
I even found puddles to see if they are truly waterproof, they ARE!
Nice dressing, seems to be good quality for the money, my older complaint is that they came from China.
My first hike using this boot proved to be comfortable and the waterproof feature works well. I went hiking during a rainy day walking about 3 miles along a route through steps, muddy and rocky paths and this shoe held up great. Once I slipped but it was because the ground was wet and slippery. These boots have exceeded expectations and continue to serve well on various adventures. They’re especially effective on slippery rocks, outperforming my other gears.
Pros:
- Affordability: These trail shoes are very budget-friendly, making them accessible for hikers on a tight budget.
- Versatility: Suitable for both trail runs and regular walks on trails.
- Resilience: The shoes are remarkably durable, even after extensive use.
- Water-Friendly: Great for hiking in water; they’ve been tested and proven effective.
- Excellent Grip: The shoes provide impressive traction, even on wet surfaces. Lightweight: Easy to carry during hikes
Overall solid boot. Did some field study through muck and mud and my feet stayed dry. A little narrow in the toe box, but once they are broken in I am sure they will be super comfortable. Pleasantly surprised how much I like them.
