I was really excited to receive this car phone holder to test. But when I put it in my car and tried to put my phone in it it kept falling. I was very disappointed with this product and would not recommend.
My overall opinion of the holder is that it’s good for little devices, but if your phone is heavy it tends to fall off the air vent. I have an iPhone 12 Pro it works well for my phone. My husband has a Pro Max And let just say it didn’t work to well for him.
Do not like the clip that goes into the vent does not hold it in place. The part that holds the phone works great but a little too much. Almost need 3(three) hands to get the phone in or out of the phone mount.
I can finally be hands free. I’ve tried a few dio kinds of hand free gadgets. I like that this one plugs into the vent. My view isn’t obstructed from it being attached to the windshield. I’d definitely recommend
I received this free product sample from hometesterclub.com to test in exchange for my honest review. Normally in my car I just lay my phone in the cup holder and then I can’t see it while driving. Now I can use the onn. Vent mount and I can see my phone and easily access it when needed. This is very helpful when using navigation. It holds my iPhone well and I have no complaints about it. Very easy to use. It’s been really helpful for me since I have received it in the mail and started using it!
If you have a lighter phone this would be great if not it might fall and not be the best addition for your car. I like the fact that the material is strong. I would recommend it.
It was hard to get my phone in the clamps. The instructions were not very helpful. I found that once mounted and holding the phone my air vent was completely blocked rendered my air conditioning useless. I don’t think the vent mount was supposed to come apart In two pieces when trying to retrieve my phone. It did keep the phone from vibrating too much and the cable management feature was helpful.
It was difficult to extend the phone holder so that it would fit my phone, and when I put the phone in it, the whole thing kept falling as if my iPhone 13 was too heavy. Yes, I did tie and fasten the knob!

This thing works great!
This thing is great and it’s not just for cars. If you make your own videos for social media, this thing clips onto anything about 1/ third of an inch wide. I love it because you don’t have to have the metal plate on the back of your phone case to stick to the magnet like some phone cases and it will fit just about any phone it seems. The spring mechanism that holds the phone in place is super tight, but not so tight that it will damage the phone or it’s hard to open up. This thing is pretty great.

Decent product.
The springs were tight, which is nice for holding it in place, however, I wish there were a bottom lip to further the stability of the phone.

It’s a blocker not a mount
The Onn vent mount is easy to clip on but difficult to clip your phone into. One MAJOR downfall of this product is that it blocks your vent, which means no A/C or heat can pass through that certain vent..I’d take a pass on this one!!
My title pretty much says it all...the holder is easy to mount on a vent and it holds my phone well. The only downside, of course, is that it blocks the vent. When traveling alone in your car, I recommend putting it on the vent facing the passenger side.
So this thing works for the purpose it’s suppose to serve. However it’s not very user friendly to the fingers. Squeezing it to open the clip to attach is not that fun and it pulls a lot on the vent itself.
