I am reviewing, onn Universal TV and Streaming Remote. It was your basic remote control. It is light weight and has the ability to control more than one TV/Streaming device. I dint not particularly like this remote because 1 it do not have the number key pad and 2 even tho it came with directions it did not explain how to use the app button. This remote frustrated me more than anything. When I tried to add the fire stick as a device that is when I found out it did not have the code for a fire stick. Oon good attempt but you need to go back and redesign. I rather have a larger remote that is functional with the number button.

Good product
The universal remote works well at changing the channels and the preset buttons are nice for easily getting to certain apps right away. The sensor works well and isn't delayed. The buttons are holding up nicely.

Doesn't work for Amazon fire tv
I was really hoping that this remote would work for my TV but unfortunately it did not. The only buttons that worked was the volume and power. I was not able to navigate up down left right at all. It's a nice size remote but it did not work for my TV.

Great product
It took a while to be able to connect it to my TV but after it finally connected it was great! It obviously took a little while to get used to but I love it. I lost my remote to my TV a few months ago and had been using an app on my phone for a remote which always took FOREVER to connect so this remote was a life saver.

Simplicity at your fingertips!
Receiving the Onn Universal TV and Streaming Remote from Home Testers Club in exchange for my thoughts, couldn't have come at a better time! I absolutely hate having multiple remotes, I literally have 3 remotes for every single TV in my house, and it drives me crazy! The thing I love the most is that this remote can control up to 3 devices including TV 's, and streaming or cable boxes, therefore only needing this 1 remote!!!! There is 3 app shortcut keys, which makes finding what you want so simple. The setup process was super easy but in case you need help setting it up, there is also a quick search function that helps you get everything figured out. I was SO happy to only need this one remote, that I went out and bought 4 more of them to have for each room! I no longer have the craziness of multiple remotes and I couldn't be happier!!

Universal Remote
I like the idea of this remote and think it would be wonderful to use; however, I couldn't get it to sync with my Vizio TV/Roku. I followed the steps, multiple times, and I got to the last step that said it should be synced, but none of the buttons worked.

Didn't work for me
I tried this on my smart TV and on my streaming device and it just didn't connect. I plan on eventually getting a new TV for the livingroom, so I'll try it them and see how it goes.

Difficult to Setup
I honestly had a bad time with this remote. I got it to work but for anyone that is not technology savvy they will have no clue how to set this controller up. Their instructions were confusing and you had to memorize each step and then try to activate it because if you didn't memorize the steps certain steps would time out on you. I was able to connect it to 2 separate tvs we have in different rooms and it works for both but probably took me about 20 minutes give or take a little to figure out what I was doing which is sad because I can handle some technology set up stuff but not for this. The instructions could honestly benefit if they only show pictures of what to press and when to press it instead of small words with no images. Overall the product can work if you figure out how to get it set up and is probably worth the money if you need a remote control.

This product is great! The design is very similar to the Amazon Fire Stick. It was very easy to use, and hooked up quickly. I have no complaints with this product and would recommend!

Awesome remote
I received the ONn Universal TV and streaming remote and was so excited to try it. Like most families now we have a million different devices and streaming services. This remote will solve the problems of having different remotes for each. I immediately set this us. You can have it hooked up to 3 different services. I did Netflix, Disney and Amazon prime. Each were easy to program with the code list given in the box. It took about 15 minutes total and works perfect. It has streamlined my use of streaming services and I love that. If I could change anything I’d like the remote to be able to hook more streaming channels and devices. Maybe 6-8 options would be ideal. Also I’d love to have numbers or channel selection options so it’s easier to maneuver once inside the apps.

I received my remote. I read the directions to attach it to my TV cable and apps. there's no numbers on the remote, this would have been helpful. it took me awhile to connect it to my devices. but, I finally got it and it works great! I enjoy the ease of having everything on 1 remote.
