Soft, beautiful hair…

Throughout the years I’ve used a variety of OGX shampoos & conditioners & enjoyed them all. The Coconut Milk Shampoo would be one of my favorites. It smells absolutely amazing & leaves my hair soft, voluminous & shiny. I use it after coloring my hair as well. It softens the hair after using a permanent hair color dye which tends to leave my hair dry & “straw like”. OGX Coconut Milk shampoo alone adds moisture. I add a small amount of Coconut Milk conditioner. Beautiful.

Smells great

This is my favorite set to bring with when I travel! The packaging is convenient and the product itself is great. Makes my hair smooth and soft, but doesn't weigh down my waves into limp nothingness.

Good shampoo

This shampoo is good and has a great smell. It does what it is supposed to do which is clean the hair and scalp. I don't think there is anything special about it but if you are a looking for a good shampoo that smells like coconut, this is a good choice.

That’s alright

I’ve heard a lot of good stuff about this company so I decided to try myself, the smell is pretty good but I didn’t see any crazy changes in my hair (dry hair) so I’m not sure how I feel about this product and if I recommend.

moisturizes well

Smells lovely. Makes your hair silky smooth. I have tried many other shampoos and always go back to this brand. Wish the consistency a bit thicker.

Disappointing Results

I recently used the OGX Coconut Milk Shampoo, hoping its rich, hydrating formula would enhance my hair care routine. Unfortunately, I experienced significant hair fall shortly after starting use. The shampoo does have a lovely coconut scent and left my hair feeling initially soft, but the hair loss was concerning. Despite its nourishing ingredients, it didn’t work well for my hair type and caused noticeable thinning. I had to discontinue use due to these adverse effects. If you have sensitive hair or are prone to hair loss, you might want to be cautious with this product.

Its just okay

First off it smells amazing and I love the texture of it but it falls short. My hair felt greasy, weighed down, and heavy.

Coconut shampoo

I have mixed feelings about this shampoo, it made my hair smell amazing and it felt like it was a good quality, but it made my hair so tangly! I brush all of my tangles out before I shower because I have fine hair and it tangled really easily. Even with a mountain of detangling conditioner, I still had a huge rats nest of tangles in my hair from using this stuff.

Great, but expensive

This product was everywhere when I was in high school. I used it often at other friend’s houses, but I was never able to justify spending that much on a small bottle of shampoo. If you can afford it, it’s absolutely worth it though. My hair has never felt better than after using this product. It always felt very soft, but not greasy, shiny, but not oily, and it made my hair feel healthy.

Great

I love this shampoo. It smells amazing. It works great. My hair felt so healthy and shiny. This shampoo made my hair feel so soft and tangle free. It totally looks and felt so healthy .

Not a fan

Smells good, but I wish it did a better job at moisturizing my hair. It dried it out more than I expected.

My family's favorite!!

My husband and kids love this shampoo. It cleans very well and smells soooo good. It doesn't dry out their hair, it leaves it feeling soft and shiny!!

Smells nice but doesn't work for me

I wanted to like this product more, but unfortunately it dries my hair out badly. I have short curly hair and I've almost finished a entire bottle of this which I pair with OGX coconut milk conditioner, and I have found this to be very drying and causes my hair to be super frizzy. After using this, my hair is so dry that it just frizzes up badly and doesn't even curl like it typically would. The conditioner does not seem to help either, not even a conditioning mask multiple times a week can get my hair back to feeling moisturized after using this for so long. It does smell nice atleast, and I'm sure it may work for someone with a different hair type. The bottle is quite large as well, and I have found it tends to fall off my shelves in the shower because its a bit too large.
