Super nice for the recently burned

Soothing and Cooling
I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. I really enjoyed the way this product feels on application and the soothing, cooling sensation it gives to sunburned and irritated skin. I felt like this made my sunburn less painful ad healed much quicker than it would have on its own. It does have a medicinal camphor smell which is not my favorite scene but is necessary in a product like this and definitely bearable for the effects it provides. It dissapates quickly as well. Great product!

It helped the redness after sunburn and it helped stop the itching. Wish it came in a bigger bottle though. But definitely recommended regardless.

Cool gel
I love how it felt on my skin. I went to the pool and didn’t realize how burnt I got. Fortunately, I had the gel handy and used it all over. Homely, it felt so good that I did. It need to reapply.

Cool, Comfortable, Soothing
This worked really well for me. I applied it after a long day in the sun and it reduced my pain and discomfort. The product has a nice smell, feels great when put on the skin and I believe it helped lessen the amount of peeling on my skin.

Works great!
This goes on light and not sticky or greasy, at all. The scent is nice and not overwhelming. It actually cools the sunburn and provides much needed relief from the pain. I highly recommend this product.

Unexpected use
When I received this to test, I was a little disappointed once I saw the ingredient list. It is a gel consistency and has 0.45% camphor as its active ingredient. What disappointed me was that it appeared to have an aloe base, but it's not. (The base is water, denatured alcohol,triethanolamine, carbomer, and ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid.) I had purchased a different sunburn treatment for my daughter earlier in the summer, and it did have a aloe base along with active ingredients, so I didn't see this product as a replacement for the one I already had. Two nights ago, however, this gel redeemed itself. While doing my hair, my finger hit the curling wand. It hurt badly, so I figured I try this product. It relieved the pain, and blisters never formed! So... while I think this might be too drying for sunburn, it's wonderful on other burns.

Sun relief that works
I really liked this product for after sun care. I go to a lot of outdoor concerts in the summer due to my spouse is in a band. There's always someone getting a sunburn and it was soothing and sealed and protecand protected my skin.

Does What it promises
My whole family loved, used, and benefitted from this product. We received it right before going on vacation so were in the perfect position to give this a good try, after being all burnt up at the beach… it instantly cooled us down & relieved our pain. I will be buying this again.

Does the job
I took some time before writing this review to have the chance to put the product to work. This gel does what it is supposed to, soothes & heals sunburn. It doesn’t have the best smell, but it’s not unbearable. My husband gets burnt frequently, so this is perfect for him to use after golf. Would recommend.

This Neutrogena Sun Rescue After Sun Medicated Relief Gel is the truth! I love that when I apply it to my sunburned skin it provides instant relief with no stinging that other brands often do. I can rub it in and go on about my day definitely will be adding this to my summer skin care bag !

Fun in the Sun
As a resident of Florida with 3 kids, this is now a must have and I recommend it to everyone. I've been trying to find something that the kids didn't complain about and was effective at the same time, good luck, right? This is it.. My kids actually ask for it now and I've purchased the product twice since receiving the sample and if you haven't tried it yet, what are you waiting for?
