Works fairly well
I received this product for free from home testers club in exchange for my review. Overall I think this product works fairly well but my skin does end up looking a bit dry by the end of the day. I would like if it had some moisturizing properties along with mattifying since I have combination skin

Works wonderfully
I absolutely love the way this product works under multiple types and brands of foundation. I used BB creams and 3 different brands of foundation and it held up flawlessly. I would definitely purchase this product and will continue to use it!

No more shine!
My morning always went like this… wash my face, then a quick skincare routine, and simple makeup routine. Halfway through the day, my t-zone would always be super shiny because of my oily face. Now, with the introduction of using Neutrogena Mattifying Primer with Shine Control, my makeup stays on and my shine stays away. It’s great! I also love that it’s non-comedogenic, as I suffer from adult acne.

Makes your skin look great
I really love it. I don’t wear makeup often but I tried it with this product and it worked really well. I prefer using it without. It doesn’t leave a weird feeling on your face. I’d recommend it to people who don’t want something that feels sticky

Neutrogena Mattifying Primer
I found Neutrogena's Mattifying Primer to be a decent option when it comes to oil control. The texture is lightweight and easy to apply, which is a plus. However, in terms of mattifying properties, it might not be the most effective for extremely oily skin types. While it does help control shine to some extent, it may require frequent touch-ups throughout the day for those with particularly oily skin. Additionally, while it claims to blur imperfections, I found it to be moderate at best. It is a decent primer for everyday use, but those with very oily skin might need to supplement it with additional products for optimal oil control.

Love how this makes my face look
I recently received Neutrogena Shine Control Mattifying Primer for free in exchange for my honest review and I absolutely loved it. This primer did an amazing job at concealing my pores while also controlling shine and glow on my face to keep a natural look. This is one of my favorite Neutrogena products as it does its job so well and my other products layer on this primer so well. I definitely recommend Neutrogena Shine Control Mattifying Primer to others.

Pore to poreless
This primer made my foundation glide on so smooth. It filled in all my pores and fine lines. I had never tried it until now and i will definitely be buying again. It's a great price and definitely works.

Neutrogena Does It Again
I will start off by saying I am a fan of Neutrogena products. This one did not disappoint. I am an avid user of primers, and this is one of my favorites. It definitely felt more like skincare upon application. It moisturized my skin, and absorbed nicely, giving my skin a smooth even canvas. There was no greasiness or heaviness to my skin. It did not flake or pill when applying makeup. When it came to performance throughout the day, I didn't see a large difference in how long my makeup stayed put for the positive or negative. Where I saw the biggest difference was upon removal. My skin felt fresh, and looked healthy and glowy. I definitely would look to purchase.

Nice Matte Base
This is a good primer for oily skin. It helps prevent shine, while minimizing pores. It doesn’t feel heavy on the skin. It provides a smooth and light finish.

Works Well
Neutrogena's Mattifying Primer with Shine Control works well. I apply it before putting on my make up. I do notice that my skin looks less shiny and makes my pores less visible as it claims.

Highly recommend
It's not often I give a 5 star review, because I feel like nothing is 100 percent perfect. However, I'm fair skined and like a more natural look and something that doesn't feel thick and looked caked on. This product was like a moisturizing feel and affect and covered My uneven skin tones on my face that include dark circles, and red spots like roseca and I absolutely loved the finish look and it left my skin feeling soft and not dried out .

great mattifying primer
Thank you so much to Home Tester Club for allowing to be try the Neutrogena Mattifying Primer in exchange for a fair and honest review. This non-comedogenic makeup primer is an oily person’s dream! It contains niacinimide, so it not only preps the skin for makeup that stays put, it helps to mattify and reduce the look of shine, blur the appearance of pores and visibly smooth skin texture. It Is a lightweight formula that goes on easily with my fingers and that absorbs quickly and completely; it feels like nothing is on the skin. Foundation and concealer go on smoothly and easily without any issue. When all is said and done, makeup looks fantastic with this primer underneath! The skin underneath has a subtle blurred appearance, which makes the makeup on top look quite lovely. It also mattifies beautifully, keeping oils and shine at bay for me for up to six hours on an average day and keeping my makeup looking fresher for up to ten hours. Overall, definitely recommend!

Solid Primer
This primer worked well. It was gentle and didn’t cause any breakouts. A small amount goes a long way and the product glides on easily. It’s quite mattifying, even after using moisturizer beforehand. I applied the primer with my fingertips and then my foundation with a cream brush. The product kept any shine at bay throughout the day.
