Smooths out fine lines, not super heavy
The cream has a smooth texture that is easy to apply. You don't need to apply a lot to cover the entire area. While it doesn't feel heavy once applied, it does leave my skin feeling a bit oily the next morning. (no biggie since I wash my face in the morning anyways!) It does tingle a bit when applying and did leave my skin a tad pinkish in color the first few times I applied it. I regularly use retinol based products so my skin is fairly used to it. For those that are new to retinol, I would definitely do a skin test beforehand to make sure that you aren't going to have a reaction to it. At the very least, space apart your usage and only apply once every 2-3 days. I started out slow at first, as I do with any new retinol based product, and slowly increased my usage. I am no longer experiencing any side effects. After using this product for a few weeks, I have noticed some results. My skin looks smoother and more radiant, especially the fine lines on my forehead. Very pleased!

Great moisturizer
I like this moisturizer, my skin gets very dry during winter period and after use this serum after 1 week I see improvement. Its less dry, smooth and the most important its not oily! I highly recommend it. Worth Every penny!

Fights signs of aging
This night moisturizer works great at fighting 5 signs of aging with retinol in it I think it soften my skin nicely I used it daily and didn’t have any problems on my sensitive skin. I’ve noticed my fine lines and wrinkles are less noticeable.

Feels nice
This is a nice light lotion. The pump works well, smoothly, and dispenses a nice amount. The product is pearly in appearance, not much scent, applies smoothly. I didn't really notice any tingle, as is said some experience when using retinol. Around day 5, I did have some peeling, but that was only for a day or 2. I have liked this product, though I'm not certain I would say I've seen visible results. I will continue to use it and continue to evaluate my face.

I used it for a little over two weeks now and haven't noticed much of a difference as far as fine lines but it does go on smoothly and my make up goes on nicely over it when I've used it on evenings before going out.

Definite improvement

"Awesome Product!"
I thought I was imagining things when I first applied Rapid Wrinkle Repair Retinol Night Moisturizer by Neutrogena! My face looked so much smoother and felt softer! I love that my fine wrinkles look less pronounced when using! I haven't used this moisturizer long enough to see a big difference as of yet, but I will continue to use.

Smoother fine lines
I have been using this product nightly for about three weeks now. I like that it absorbs quickly and does not make my face feel greasy. I am prone to redness on cheeks and nose and I think this has helped with my cheeks. I was not sure if I was really noticing a difference in the fine lines until I looked back at pictures taken about a month ago. I can actually see that the lines around my mouth are not near as noticeable. I will try concentrating more on my neck in the next few weeks to see if it helps with the neck wrinkle. I would definitely buy this product.

Love this brand
I've always had a great experience with Neutrogena, and this product reaffirmed my high opinion of the brand. As I age, I need Retinol in my skincare routine, and this product delivers just that in a gentle, non-irritating way. Good Night Time Moisturizer!
I was excited to receive this product through Home Tester Club in exchange for this honest review. I'm 43 and constantly on the lookout for skincare that actually works! This retinol moisturizer is gentle and is a welcome addition to my night time skincare routine. I use it as the last step, unless my skin is unusually dry; then I apply another moisturizer on top. But, this is usually plenty hydrating, even with the retinol. Since using this product, my skin has been smoother and my fine lines have been a little less noticable. That might not sound like a big deal, but without botox or cosmetic surgery, that's about the best you can get! Most moisturizers I've used don't accomplish as much as this one does. This does give me a few white heads around my nose if I use too much in that area, but that is common for me with any retinol product. I definitely recommend this for anyone wanting smoother, brighter, plumper skin!

Great cream for the price
I tried Neutrogena Retinol Moisturizer for nighttime for a month. I used two squirts to cover my face and neck. The cream feels nice and smells amazing. After using for 30 days my dark circles a less noticeable and my fine lines are less line-y. I had the initial break out when I first started applying the cream to my face, and as the days went on they went away very quick, no scars, no popping needed. My face did get dry. Not horrible dry, just needed to slap on some extra moisturizer and chapstick. It is also winter time and windy so that could be a mix of both. My face is brighter . I would not exfoliate while using this if you are a beginner. Ease yourself into to trying it. Start out every other day or two and gradually add more days. You can feel the tingle when you first start using it. That means it’s working! Be sure to wear SPF with this product. I am going to keep this little gem in my normal beauty routine.
