I been using this Deep Clean cleanser from Neutrogena for a couple weeks now. First of all, getting it open in the first place was a pain as there’s no clear direction. Turn the dispenser counter clockwise. You’ll thank me later.
It has the smell and texture of Baby Shampoo, and it’s as slippery and sudsy as such. A little goes a long way, like not even the size of a dime.
I’ve used it every day, twice a day (with admittedly some gaps). While I do notice that my face is a little smoother and less oily as I tend to have oily skin, the “black spots” on my nose still remained which was a little disappointing as I had hoped since it is called “Deep Clean” that it would finally get rid of those.
Also, even with using a little, it’s a CHORE to clean off. In the shower, it takes me about two minutes to fully rinse off and with the washcloth at the sink even longer.
So, in closing, while it does freshen your face, it doesn’t clean as deep or rinse as well as one would hope.
I have oily skin and this product does a great job at making my skin look less slick. I did use this product at night only after a long day, so Im not sure if results would've been different during the day. Overall, when I woke up, i didn’t feel as oily. P.S. beware of getting in your eyes, it isn’t tear-free.
Works pretty well. Just like the other top-notch brands for the limited time that we've had it and used it, it's worked pretty well. Only complaint that I would have is just the smell. It's got a distinctive odd smell to it. It doesn't make it a bad thing to utilize but be understanding that you're using a facial cleanser and not all the time will they smell the best. It's not a perfume
This cleanser is very gentle, and did wonders to my oily skin. It is different than my previous Neutrogena products actually. A much better improvement!! I do recommend this product!
I really feel like this is a great product. I have an oily face and struggle with stubborn acne at times. This product has really helped me keep my face less oily and remove that stubborn acne slowly. I usually by the apricot scrub to clean my face but this neutrogena product does everything I need.

Great cleanser!
This cleanser works really well! It made my face feel squeaky clean. I love the lather this cleanser can produce. My only negative is that I’m not a fan of the smell, I prefer skincare products that do not have any fragrance.
This product works pretty well to cleanse the skin, but I felt like it was also stripping away all of the good moisture. It left my skin very dry, which in the winter was not good. I needed to put on multiple layers of moisturizer after. The product wasn't irritating and had almost no scent. The texture was decent too, but wouldn't recommend for skin that is already prone to dryness, especially in the winter.
The cleanser does an ok job with removing makeup and oil from your face. However, I find it to be very drying. I wouldn’t use this daily maybe a couple of times a week for a deep clean.

Great for oily skin!
This deep facial cleanser has been awesome for my oily skin! It really gets rid of excess oil and dirt without making my face feel dry or tight. The lather feels nice and refreshing, and my skin always looks super clean and smooth after using it. Over time, I’ve noticed my pores look clearer, and my skin stays fresh without getting too greasy. Definitely recommend if you want something that controls shine but still keeps your skin feeling good!

a lovely cleanser
love this product. not super scented which is great. foams up well and doesn’t leave my face feeling dry and tight! i forgot moisturizer after using and my skin feels good. took off my stubborn eye makeup with only a bit left behind
This is the most amazing face wash I have ever used! Not only does my face feel sp clean and refreshed as soon as I apply I to my face, but even after I wash it off my face it feels amazing!
