Mix it in™ Soft Serve Ice Cream Maker by Cuisinart® ICE-48

I received the Mix It In Soft Serve Ice Cream Maker by Cuisinart ICE-48 for free from Home Tester Club in exchange for my honest review. I was very excited about the opportunity to test this ice cream maker because of how nice it looked and I love soft serve ice cream. I didn't have to wait very long at all because it was delivered to me two days later which is great. The instruction and recipe booklet was very helpful and made putting this thing together a breeze. I was expecting it to take up quite a bit of counter space but turns out it doesn't take much counter space at all since it is built tall rather than wide. On one side of the unit you have three topping containers if you want to add nuts, sprinkles, etc and there's also a cone holder. I used the vanilla ice cream recipe from the booklet and it turned out so good! The taste and texture were both perfect and only took about 25 minutes to make a total of 5 cups. Clean up was fairly easy too.

I was really impressed with all the features of this product, including the compartments and chute for mix-ins and the warmer for sauces. I also really appreciated that the recipes included drinks and dairy-free recipes for different uses I hadn't thought of.

My family loves this ice cream machine! It is so simple to use and doesn't take up that much counter space! It took about 30 minutes of churning for perfectly smooth ice cream. I love that it has a cone holder, three dry topping containers as well as a little heated burner to keep your sauces warm and gooey. It's the perfect little dessert station. We are excited to keep trying out new and unique Frozen desserts with the machine! I definitely recommend!

I have always wanted an Ice Cream Maker and this Cuisinart Ice Maker has everything we need to make some of our favorites. The Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker was easy to assemble and I would highly recommend to everyone.

This is not your grandma’s old ice cream maker, this is Cuisinart at its finest!! If you want delicious homemade ice cream in under 30 minutes or less, then this is your machine!! This Mix It In Soft Serve Ice Cream Maker is the easiest machine that I have ever used, it is easy to assemble, has great quick and easy recipes with items that are already in your kitchen and is start to finish the quickest I have ever made ice cream. The soft serve ice cream is so thick & delicious & with only a handful of ingredients!! What is nice about this is that, I made their strawberry ice cream recipe with ingredients that I can eat, you can control what’s in your ice cream and it’s absolutely delicious and satisfying! There is even a mix in station with toppings of your choice, like chopped nuts, mini chocolate chips and healthy granola. There is a warming station for your hot fudge, caramel sauce, or chocolate topping to drizzle over your ice cream and a cute cone holder. This has everything!!

This machine is so much fun to have in the kitchen!! We loved using the recipes to make different creations and loved that it had mix ins to add to the cones. The cone holder was so cute too.

I had the opportunity to try this ice cream machine. It's super easy to assemble and my kids love it. We can have altogether the sprinkles and the melted chocolate. As the ice cream goes out, we can add the sprinkles or the melted chocolate making double fun.

We no longer have to spend so much taking 4 kids to get ice cream! It makes many flavors with such a simple machine! The topping bar is a little difficult to aim onto a cone but we love it regardless!

So easy a child can use it and my children Love it. We bought this for our daughter's birthday party and the kids had a blast. Ran perfectly, easy to clean and surprise surprise works well every time. At least our kids think so. I'm happy with this buy and will do so again for some other children I know.

It's surprisingly easy to use; even I managed to whip up delicious soft serve without turning my kitchen into a disaster zone. The best part? Experimenting with mix-ins. Who knew crushed cookies and candy could taste even better when churned into ice cream? It's compact, but don't let its size fool you – this machine is capable of satisfying the most serious ice cream cravings. Cleaning up is pretty straightforward, too. My only gripe is wishing it made more in one batch. Now, if only I could stop the endless "Is it ready yet?" from the family!

We enjoy making ice cream in Cuisinarts soft serve ice cream maker, but it is a lot of work for something like this. dispenser is a nice addition. I think we would have more use for it, if we made soft serve ice cream more often, but, as it is, it takes up valuable counter space. It's one of those contraptions you keep in the closet. The and lids for the add-ons/mix-ins are super loose and aren't tied down, they just stay in their slots if properly placed.

This Cuisinart ice cream maker is fun for occasional use! It's easy to set up and makes delicious soft serve in minutes. The mix-in dispenser is a cool feature for adding chocolate chips or sprinkles. However, cleaning can be a bit tedious, and the machine only makes a small amount at a time. Perfect for satisfying occasional cravings, but not ideal for frequent use or large gatherings.

Lots of fun to make soft ice cream but there is a learning curve to how rich you want your ice cream. Tried the given recipe for chocolate and it turned out way too heavy and rich. Will modify the recipe until I get it just right for me by decreasing the heavy cream or blending with whole milk. No matter what, it’s a blast to use. Love the hidden cone holder. Nice touch!
