Not well made
When I first received the toaster I thought wow how light weight it was. Super small but would be good for a starter for a single person. Toasted ok but didn’t pop all the way up. However as I stated before it would be a good starter for a single/couple to use.

Basic but works well
Basic toaster but definitely does it's job and works well. If you're looking for a cost effective quality toaster, this is it.

Works fine but maybe heats unevenly
I think this toaster works perfectly fine - it's just like any other toaster I've used. It doesn't have a cancel button (you turn the knob all the way to cancel), bagel button, or frozen setting, but it gets the job done. I am not very picky, so I am pretty happy with the toaster, but I did notice that it heated the waffles unevenly (see picture). I didn't have any issues with bread through. The toaster itself has a plastic outside, but it doesn't look or feel cheap, which is a plus in my eyes.

I loved the toaster, it is very fast and the bread is deliciously toasted, in the morning I make my children their bread with jam and butter and they are fascinated

Basic Toaster... No frills
This is a no-frills, 2 slice, basic toaster. With 6 different heating level settings, everyone in my family was happy with their particular choice. It has a small footprint and does not take up a lot of room on the counter. The reason I rated it 4 stars and not 5, is because the shell of the toaster has a cheap look and plasticky feel. With that said, it is easier to clean than some of the stainless-steel models.

2 slice Toaster
The Mainstays 2 slice toaster works perfectly well to evenly toast 2 slices of bread. I like the compact size to fit on my counter and the easy dial knob to choose level of heat. I had to cut bagels to fit more properly in the slots and the bagels turned out well toasted. I hope it will last a long time, I've been using it on a daily basis and so far okay. I'm assuming it's a budget friendly toaster since the outside is made of plastic.

Basic toaster
This toaster works fine for regular size bread. The longer pieces of bread or bagels don't fit. You have to push the lever all the way down hard to get it to stay down. It also doesn't pop up completely

Good toaster
It works really well. I love that it has 6 settings and is easy to clean. Makes my toast perfectly every time. Also looks nice. I would like to see more colors like silver. Overall I recommend.

Easy Mainstays 2-slice toaster
I like that this toaster has six simple settings that is easy to use. I like that there’s a cancel feature in case I want the toast to pop up before the setting it was set at. I like the cord storage at the bottom of the unit and the fact there is an indent on the bottom for the cord so the toaster stays stabilized. The toaster is made of thinner plastic, shiny on the large sides and a matt finish on top and side where the settings button is, that’s a good feature because it prevents fingerprints. It toasts appropriately and I recommend.

I love my Maindtays toaster!!!!
I love my Mainstays Toaster!!!! It has the 2 slice option and works very well. I love the black toaster because it matches all of my appliances. I look forward to my toast now! I highly recommend this product!!!!

Basic toaster
This is a very basic toaster. It works okay but there is nothing that makes it great. I don't like that in order to cancel the toasting, you have to turn the knob all the way back. I would prefer to have a cancel button. I probably wouldn't use this for very long.

Mainstays 2 Slice Toaster
I was very pleased with this toaster. We had another toaster we have used faithfully for years and we were ready and grateful for the upgrade. Aesthetically, the toaster is a step up from our old one and it also seems to function about the same if not better than our old 2 slice toaster. I put the know on 4.5/6 as I like mine more browned but not completely black. It gave me exactly what I expected and I didn't have to retoast it at a lower temperature. My sister in law lives with us also and she used it and really liked it. Normally she will toast hers in the oven, but decided to give the new one a try and was pleased. I definitely would consider buying this if it ever fails.
