Mainstays 12 Cup Coffee Maker Black

I like this coffee maker. The only I did not like about it was the fact that it did not have an automatic shut off option. Other than that this is the perfect coffee maker for me and my family.

This has to be one of the most basic coffee machines I have ever tried. I mean what do you expect for $15. You fill the water up the back. It requires paper filter which is fine. So does mine. The coffee brews at 180° and you get however many cups of coffee that you have added water for. It takes almost 13-15 min to brew a whole 12-cup pot of coffee. It has a pause and brew function but does not turn off on its own. It will just sit on with a hot burner pad on so you end up with burnt coffee. You have to actually press the power button to the off position to stop the pot from heating up. The carafe and basket are dishwasher safe although I did not use my dishwasher. My coffee tasted burnt and bitter using this machine compared to my normal machine which takes 10 min to brew 12 cups of coffee. Is it great for a dorm or someone starting out on their own? Of course especially for the price.

I received the produce free from home tester club in exchange for a honest review. This coffee pot is great looking, occupies little space and brews a fantastic hot cup of coffee quickly. It has fast become my favorite appliance.

It is a simple product and works well. I prefer simple to fancier coffee machines that are difficult to operate. I would prefer that it was programmable. I like the drip feature.

I love Coffee - it’s a must in my life so I couldn’t be happier to test the Mainstays 12 cup coffee maker black. And, I must say it’s a no frills, couldn’t be easier to use (simply push the on/off switch) machine that’s brews a fresh cup of coffee. It doesn’t have the programming features I’m accustomed to but it’s at a fantastic price point and sometimes all the extras aren’t needed! It didn’t leak and the carafe is dishwasher safe. I would definitely recommend for a basic coffee pot that didn’t disappoint.

The Coffee maker may not be one of the high end ones that has all those special features but it works great with the features it does have. The coffee brews perfectly and taste great.

This coffee pot is as simple as they come! It brews quickly and serves up a delicious cup of coffee to enjoy! Easy on and off button. Just prepare your coffee as you like, turn it on and bam!!! Enjoy a hot cup of coffee. So simple and really great.

It's a very basic coffee maker that does what it's supposed to which is brew hot coffee. It makes it in a fairly quick manner. I would recommend this to someone who just wants a regular machine.

Brewed in 5 minutes super hot I went and bought we another one for work. What a great coffee maker

This coffee pot is great! After a rinse cycle before use, I found that it was quick to make the house smell of delicious coffee and the tuck away cord feature has to be my one of my favorites. The only downfall I saw was actually the lid. When opened, the water drips off the inside of the lid and onto the counter or whatnot. It's an easy clean up but if you drink a lot of coffee like myself, it can be tedious. However, the great and fast coffee makes it all worth it.

First I’d like to say, that I poured myself a really nice cup of coffee. It’s actually stronger that my previous, leaving me to believe that this one would need less to still produce the quality that I enjoy. And the icing on top is the heated or “keep warm” feature which my last one didn’t have. This has so much more that I haven’t mentioned so I’m attaching a photo that explains it better

It’s a pretty basic coffee machine. It takes a while to brew but it’s better than waiting for the keurig to pour out 1 cup of coffee. Easy to clean and assemble. I do recommend.

I needed a coffee maker to just do a simple job of brewing coffee. Nothing fancy. This Mainstay coffee maker is perfect. It is easy to use right out of the box and makes a great pot of coffee. If this is what you want I get a simple cup of coffee, this is the pot for you.

this is a nice coffee pot. the brand is Mainstays and it is black and it is a 12 cup maker. my only downside of this coffee pot that is does not have a clock on it and it is dishwasher safe

This coffee maker is small enough for cramped spaces yet large enough for full pot. It doesnt have many amenities making it nice for frugality. However the 'brew pause ' feature is convenient for a fast cup of coffee ensuring there is no mess to clean up later. It brews as fast as any expensive coffee maker allowing yiu to spend more money on better quality coffee. The only thing it lacks is a cover for power cord storage area. That would be nice to keep winter time mice out of the area.
