Works but takes effort
The LARGE size bag that I received for testing is perfect and will easily fit inside a carry-on suitcase. The zipper is nice and secure and pretty much seals completely after the first slide. The color changing seal indicator can use improvement. Right now the two colors are visibly separated and do not combine into "green" (I have tested it several times even with an empty bag) The sealing process itself is very easy, but removing air afterterwards takes a great deal of effort! The valve at the bottom of the bag doesn't stay open, so I had to constantly adjust so that it would continue to release the air.

Great idea but just didn’t work
I was so excited to try the magic bags because my sister and I tend to buy ourselves new clothes when we travel and we always struggle with fitting everything in our luggage on the way home. Unfortunately, my magic bag did not work the way it was described. I filled the bag to the full line and zipped it up with no problem but the air did not expel when I tried to roll it. Basically, all I had was a nice, big sturdy bag with no magic. While not great for the intended purpose, I think this bag would make a nice under-bed storage bag since it can keep things clean.

Thorough instructions for use
The first thing I noticed about the MagicBag is the thorough instructions and precautions that are listed on the outside. I like that it's clear, a large size, and fairly simple to clean. I tested the MagicBag by putting a few different sized towels into it. Even after I rolled the bag tightly, it was obvious that a lot of air was still inside. I tried the whole process again and had the same outcome. Since the information that came with the MagicBag said this it was new and improved, I expected it to work much better. However, while the molded grips on the slider over the zipper area do help you to seal the bag, the slider doesn't stay totally even with the zipper when you move it. I think the most innovative and useful feature of this product is its color changing seal. I really like how it will indicate to you whether or not the contents are secured inside by changing from blue to a light green.

Except product
This arrived just in time ! I travel a lot for work and I prefer to you my carry on but I always have limited space, until now. I had a trip and was able to fit all my clothes in the bag and it left plenty of space for all my additional items. I would highly recommend this product if you travel a lot and need extra room.

Magic Bag Non-Vacuum
The air release valves only seemed to work during every third effort. The first time I tried to express the air, nothing happened so I watched a youtube video to see if I was doing something wrong. Following the youtuber's description, I had to put it on the floor, and while rolling the zippered end, I put my knees and whole body weight on the bag. Suddenly, some air released from the center valve. I was losing my grip on the zippered end, so I picked it up to try again. The next two times nothing happened. On the third try some air came out of the right side valve. By this time, my hands were sore from gripping the zippered end. I tried a couple more times, using my entire body weight on the bag and couldn't express any more air. I used a small bed pillow in the bag. It compressed it by about 1/2 the thickness, but I wasn't able to remove all of air. I could have easily stored the pillow in this state. Overall, this was a lot of work. Maybe a vacuum bag would have been easier.

Miracle worker for those who pack heavy
I was happy with the quality, it wasn't too thick and heavy, but sturdy. I tend to over pack and this helped free up a lot of space in my bag. When I get home I plan to take a phot of what I packed before and after to show the room that was saved! I will purchase these again.

This is the perfect bag to travel with! Especially in winter months when you are packing your fluffy sweaters and hoodies!! It really makes a difference in space in your suitcase!! I would definitely recommend!!

Great for trips

Tight seal, but useless bag?
I received one large magic bag to try. It definitely fit a lot of clothes but did not lay flat, or roll up as pictured in instructions on the bag. The seal worked as pictured changing colors to green and the large slider made it extra secure. I don't see the purpose for the bag really, as I said, it doesn't lay flat or roll up so doesn't save space.
