Flakes on me

I tried this because of all the hype online about this mascara. I liked the definition it have my eyelashes but it flaked through the day for me. If it wasn’t for that I would buy again.

Love it

This is a great and affordable mascara. It looks just as good as a lot of high end mascaras. It may dry out quickly if you don't take care of it well, but overall great product.

Lash Princess

I love this mascara! It is bold and super black. I like how it gives my lashes crazy volume. Definitely plan on continuing to repurchase and recommend to others. This is my favorite mascara!

Awesome for the price!!

Got this off Amazon on a whim and I’m so happy I did! The mascara was water proof and didn’t clump up! It really did make my lashes look more full and long! Amazing product that I fell in love with!

One of my top 3 choices

I love this mascara! This is one of my top choices when it comes to mascar. I love the brush and how it applies the mascara. It adds volume and length without making my lashes look too clumpy. I have thin lashes and this mascara definitely makes them stand out.

Good for lengthening but not my favorite

I love most of the Essence Lash Mascaras so I assumed I would love false lash effect one but I don't like it at all! It works very well for lengthening your lashes but it makes your lashes clump together and in effect, makes the lashes appear long but very thin.

SUCH a steal & such a staple!

You really can’t go wrong with this mascara. It’s so affordable, and works just as well (if not better!) than $30 mascaras from Sephora. Save your money & snag this instead!

Huuuuge fan !

I love love Essence mascaras!! I’m so happy that I discovered these on Amazon. They’re one of my favorite mascaras I’ve ever tried, and the price is just perfect for me. I like the “blue version” best though since it is waterproof. Literally stays on perfectly even through a long shower!

Pros and cons

In oppose other mascaras this brush is nicer, pretty long, so it was a bit hard to control for me. But the mascara itself is not great, dried out fast and I wouldn't buy it again.

You Can't Beat the Quality for the Price

I was shocked when I tried this! I couldn't believe how well it worked to lengthen my lashes and give them volume. It also has decent staying power.

Best cheap drugstore mascara

This is one of the best mascaras I've ever tried, drugstore or not. I love Too Faced's mascara but it is a bit pricey sometimes. This isn't a dupe but in some aspects is BETTER. It lasts long, curls my straight eyelashes and looks amazing. Highly recommend this for $5

ABSOLUTELY YES

I got these for christmas in 2022 and when I tell you essence mascara is now my go to. It is a tubing mascara and truly gives you so much lift and volume. The waterproof in the blue tube as well as the pink tube are amazing as well. I would buy these over and over. The only downside to this non-waterproof one is that it does give you a bit of panda eyes if you arent careful

Best affordable mascara around!!!

I love this brand and this mascara,it glides on lashes without clumping up or giving you "spider-legs" for eyelashes.it gives length and volume all in one and lasts all day without flaking away.best 5$ mascara you will ever find.

A great inexpensive mascara

This is a great inexpensive mascara that can easily be bought at your local store. This is great for beginners and super affordable! It also does not leave your eyelashes looking super clumpy which is great!

One of my favorites

I’ve been using this mascara for a long time. It makes my eyelash long & pop. The only reason I’m giving it four stars is because sometimes it clumps but overall I’m happy with the results.
